He is the greatest, not because of his stats or his money or his trophies, but because when you see him play you can’t help but be absolutely mesmerized by the things he can do. His understanding of the sport is so intrinsic that even people who don’t necessarily like football can’t help but be riveted to the field when he plays.

If we look at the number of high impact penalties missed by him - one against Croatia (which was in group stages in 2018) and one in 2016 against Chile. I would like to remind all that the greatest Diego missed once in 1990, Kylian Mbappe missed one in the last Euros, Roberto Baggio missed the all important one in 1994, Ronaldinho missed 13 penalties, so its all there in the mind. The reason he converted all penalties in 2022 was that Leo was in a different mindset altogether. he switched on beast mode since the Poland miss.

While it's true that Ronaldo tried different teams in his career, they make it look as if he played for mid-tier teams that he took to the top by himself. Puting Sporting Lisboa aside, he always played for the best teams in their respective leagues. When he joined Juventus they had been winning the Scudetto 7 years in a row, and although Man U flopped they had a top-tier team when he joined in 2021.
