Hello, I brought your BCBA 3 exam package with the study guide. I like the exam and the questions are fairly good. I recommend adding a diagnostic part to the exam such as after grading the exam, you are able to see which task list is mastered and which one you still need to work on. I think that will make the exams way more meaningful

Hi, Maryam, good feedback! In our testing we've found that providing people with specific task list percentages and sections of mastery led to tunnel vision on the task list items that weren't "mastered" which led to a decrease in fluency in the other items that were once mastered. Ultimately, it led to students failing to maintain what they once knew and it became an endless loop of learning certain parts of the task list and forgetting others. We want our students to give equal weight to the entire task list since every question on the exam is equal in value.

Thanks for your videos but I have a doubt, here you put maintenance as part of generalization I thought they were different. Can you explain?

Maintenance is a “subset” of generalization. In order to maintain, you have to generalize

Hi love your video. Currently a student. I fail to see the difference between effective and applied .. I dnt mind emphasis but the two seem the same. What are the differences?

Applied refers to socially valid and meaningful targets in our treatment. Effective means those targets are changed in a way that is significant enough to impact the lives of our clients.
