Hello from New Zealand hey we get the DAF and Kenworth makes but what’s missing is Peterbilt trucks, just a limited number of Peterbilts here in New Zealand but really love to see more come here.
Good looking truck, Mike Don’t paint the fenders unless using the rubber based paint to avoid scratches But a “Gamgsta” 14” drop visor with matching window chops would really work along with a super heavy duty Hurd moose bumper with all kinds of off road lights
Beautiful work truck! Very nice and built for the job. It Will last and look good for a long time this way. I like the old school cab/trucks but ultimately after a year and a half with my 567. It is super comfortable to drive and live in all week. An updated 389 with the new cab/bunk with a square hood would be mint.
I like that color, just like Kenworth switching from the old T series cabs I'm guessing old school cabs are not production friendly its all about get them built and push them out the door. I bet the Pete factory can pump out 5 series cabs faster than 3 series. We've done a couple residential logging jobs, stamping the logs wasn't my favorite job, one thing we don't have the pecker poles like you guys have so stamping a load doesn't take that long lol. Playing picasso with the log marking paint.
Interesting fun fact, production of the new cab is limited by how many the robots can make in a day. However they can increase the build production of the 3 series cabs by hiring more people. you cant just hire more robots... when it was rockin in 2019 they were able to increase production of the three series cab but were tapped out for the 5 series. We can all thank the EPA for the changes.

With freight prices dropping like a rock I don't see too many truckers getting new rigs.
Still prefer cab forward axle even if it compromises wheel base length & payload.

Thumbs up Mike but sorry, my favorite place for engine brake is on the manual shifter (stick shift)... from back in the day.
