Love the color of this Golf. Amazing build, just amazes me how people can drive a car with so much power in an area that seems to be always wet and being so low to the ground with less than ideal roads? Must be maddening to drive around town.

Luke, even though the tuned Golf R's with the DSG are so incredibly quick, they still lack the driver involvement and engagement and fun of a proper manual transmission.
Thats why I feel you made the right decision with your stage 3 manual Golf R.

Sorry to say mate but bs comment, they literally have a manual mode, if its mapped correctly it won't upshift on its own. Manuals are known for failing clutch + can suffer with crank walk so see you later engine. In all honesty their just not as fast as the dsg version.
had an 850 whp MK6 R at one point in life. Integrated engineering block/head/intake/ big turbski etc. e-85 and water meth. destroyed hellcats at 450 whp.. it rarely saw 850. And it was a 6 speed.
