I have 3 daughters who are grown as well. I feel it like a momma ♥ I want you both to know we love your content, we love your trips, we love your cabin, we love your kids and we love your "empty nesting" our kids are out for a few years now, its still a new phase but we're embracing it. We love your garden, we love your cooking, we love your renovations. we love the boys riding, or fixing, or just being real people its just heartwarming to watch you, whatever you're doing. Nice to see the family together again. Please say a prayer for all of us in Houston. Day three with no power - temps in the 90’s and lots of cleanup left after the recent storms. I started watching for the Jeeps...being an owner of one. Got hooked on the travels, Carol's cooking, the boys' drone flying and cinematography, Caroline's splendid and poetic narration. I'll admit to missing the Jeeps and am, honestly, undecided on the truck...but it's the adventures you all have that matter the most. And, last but NOT least, Lando, I could watch an hour of that beautiful doggo. Thanks for all of what you do.

I started watching EFRT because of Jeeps but became hooked on your adventures through life. We are empty nesters ourselves and relocated to the coastal plains of NC when our first grandchild was born, about 20 months ago. As of a week ago, we have a 2nd. They grow up so fast. Hoping Dan had a very happy birthday and god bless the EFRT family.
We watch because of the adventures in life that you share. From the beginning, (we watched a lot of your older videos long after they had been posted) you have been one of our inspirations in videography and storytelling. Nice guys. Yes, life has chapters. We were on the road for 3.5 years together now back in NZ, but we go 6 to 8 times per year to Australia as our overlanding truck is stored there. Just spent 3 weeks in the outback it was just wonderful. Cheers Rolanda van Amsterdam

What a special treat! To have both Carol's brother and family AND Caroline and the cousin all there with y'all! SO SPECIAL! The little ones always add that special touch with their big eyes and beautiful smiles! I greatly enjoyed Caroline's guitar and singing, such a beautiful voice! How blessed are you two with the family you have raised who are quickly becoming adults. The time you sacrificed as parents to focus on your kids and like you said, that time factor is something you just don't get back so obviously you have spent it very wisely. Congrats!

My dog Jade , my baby doll , most likely will have to be put down , she is 13 and 1/2 years old and can't walk now , she gets up on her front legs and drags her back legs a couple of feet , that's all she can do , she's in pain , she struggles to lay back down after she moves .
We , the family ( me my daughter and granddaughters ) are hopeing that the pain medicine the vet gave her helps , but she needs a miracle .
Will you pray for her , she .,. We .. need all the prayers we can get .

I have been a follower and admirer of your channel and family for many years now and as a parent of 2 almost grown up children I completely understand where you are coming from. What is "sad" is that so many folks within the You Tube vacuum (i mean universe 🙂) have been vocal about chasing that algorithm demon that seems to plague so many folks that have chosen to make this their primary income stream. It is unfortunate that so many have to balance between their story or art form to "feed the machine". Love what you do and hope to continue to see what comes next down the road for your family. I've really enjoyed watching yall since the Winnebago days. I appreciate being included through the video message of the family update. It's a good reminder to us viewers how the progression is with families and TH-cam changes. My daughter just graduated high school and we will see her off to college in the fall. You have raised some amazing adults. I have always hoped they would each have their own channels. As they were growing up, you could see they had their own interests and personalities. EFRT seemed like the combination of all of those interests. Now that they are ready to go out on their own, it's like an expansion of those interests with their own channels.
I felt for Carol as Caroline arrived and then left the Island. My heart is also in this place though my children have long since my home. My grandchildren also are off on their own and living life. The world has changed so much for families. I hope you all stay connected for many years to come.

I am a somewhat new viewer and fan! Over the past six or so months I have watched your family adventures and the progress on your homestead on the island. Love Dan’s channel as well! In addition I have enjoyed the Simple Meals and Pete’s restoration of the Adventure channel. I truly enjoy watching them all. Just a little constructive criticism…..I feel like it almost a waste of time watching the Simple Meals since they also included on this channel. I understand why you would want to keep it cooking on this channel…..so can different meals be featured on the Simple meals? It is sad but yet so happy to see fly their own. I wonder what my mom would thought when I moved out. Looking back that my mom always had tears on her eyes when I leaving her from my visit.

y'all deff raised your kids right , i enjoy watching all 3 channels even got my GF watching Simple meals lol . i guess the Ford ( get it a name already !! JK) still needs a bit of time to get Alaska ready ( if y'all still doing that ). the Pan American highway central America and going south would be cool to do as a Family again with the kids in their own jeeps-bikes doing their thing and maybe meet up once a week or something like that . especially with Caroline's good spanish speaking skills .i started watching y'all since end of 2019 and i'll continue watching y'all and the kids ( god willing ) for a long time no matter what chapter in life y'all at

Great video and just keep doing what you folks are doing. Life goes on, and yes your content is still great. Unfortunately we all get older, and life changes and new experiences and adventures await us all. Just keep being who you are, and don't change that for anyone or anything. At 58, I've learned that. Maybe we will meet someday on a trip or a trail. We are in Arizona, and I've been doing it since I was 8 or 9 years old it started with my father, who was a 100% outdoors man and a jeeper. Real people like yourself are hard to find and just know that we appreciate and like all that you post. All phases of your life. Happy Trails.
