I was fortunate enough to live in Alberta in the mid 1970's. We frequently camped and explored in K country. I recall camping at Spray Lakes for a week, and never seeing another person. Back then, there was no Lougheed park, and no big government owned getaway in K country. Turner Valley/Sheep River area was also one of my favorite spots to camp. You rarely saw other people back then, in these areas. So much has changed since then, but the mountains remain the same. I lived in Banff for the latter part of 1976, and it is an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for these videos. It brings back memories I had forgotten.
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching him. Have a wonderful day.
Praise the Lord God Almighty for his beautiful creation. How majestic is his name upon all the earth🙏🏻♥️
Your channel is my top favorite channel to watch. Love what you guys do but not only that, you guys are such cool, good hearted people.
I have been watching your BC videos with particular interest lately because I'm planning on exploring BC for a month in 2025 -- probably August-September. I live in Washington, D.C. (btw, Carol, I'm a fellow Oregonian -- from Hood River, before windsurfers discovered it). Thank you so very much for sharing your adventures on and off the island. Your positive spirit is a welcome respite (I was awakened this morning at 4:00a by gunfire on my block). Your Sunday videos have been must-see TV for a few years. I'm hoping that at some point after your Trans-Canada trip is complete you will do a retrospective video on it, recounting reflections, highlights, lowlights, what you'd do differently and what you'd recommend for others roadtripping Canada. I've done five trans-America roadtrips, most recently this past spring: 9,000 miles roundtrip DC to Oregon/California. My 2025 journey to BC will be the first I've roadtripped in Canada. It will be focused primarily on BC, which I'll enter from the east side of Glacier NP. I'm undecided how much time to spend in Canada's southern Rockies (probably a couple weeks) and where to go in the rest of the province and for how long. Also am inclined to return home primarily through Canada, crossing the border to the US at Niagara (have family to visit in New York state). Will be driving a Toyota Tundra 4x4 (TRD-OffRoad) with canopy, 270-degree awning and rooftop tent (Alu-Cab products). Also, there's at least one great book in your EFRT adventures to-date. I'd be early in line for the first edition. Thanks again and best wishes in everything you all have going on these days.
You're out doing yourselves with this gorgeous footage.... Thank you so much for bringing us along.
Thank you. We are so glad to have you along.
The camera never captures the true beauty of the landscape. Thank you for taking us along.
14:59 -15:18 one of my favorite shots. The water 💧 is baby blue I mean everything God creates is breath taking
25:38 Speaking of cattle, that cloud looks like a cow 🐄 lol
33:38 WoW beautiful
Thanks 😊
Wieder mal ein wunderbares Video. Ich habe bisher alle Episoden gesehen. Liebe Grüsse aus Deutschland
Absolutely enjoyed your background music. Beautiful country. Your adventures are the only way I will see this country. Thanks from TN.❤
Ohhh Canada... Beautiful!! Some of riggs at Overland Expo are starting to resemble the worlds largest truck!! Safe Travels
It's so beautiful words don't do it justice. We crossed all the provinces from Ontario to Yukon, going from Ky to Alaska. Banff and johnston canyon was so breathtaking. We traveled 1 because we were not equipped for the adventure trail.....that's another whole beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Running out of words to describe the beautiful mother nature specially the water 🌊 innocent sheep's in their own packs rode that increases the willingness to explore it more and more. Wonderful thankyou for what you are showing ❤❤
Have you ever spoken about how you two first met? You certainly compliment each other's personalities. ❤
words can not decribe the scenic wonders of your trip. We did all the area and lifed in Abanff but never saw any of it as I was too buisy being young or working Thank you. Now we are retired we will have to go back and take the over land trail. Best part of Banff Spring was met my wife working there and it has been more that 30years now. Time goes by so we will have to pack up the ambulance camper & get started on our trip next season. all the best the Turners, Ian and Sue
Did you know that the Highwood Pass (Highway 40) is the highest paved road in Canada? The stunning ruggedness of the landscape is incredible
I lived in stunning Alberta . There so many Camping spots
I lived in Alberta 8'years Subdre is very nice place .
Wow! Alberta is just stunning!!
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Beautiful Alberta🌷🌷Cheers🥂
Glad you guys enjoyed Highway 40 and the Highwood Pass as much as we do!! It is impossible to catch the true beauty on camera, a must see for everyone ☺️
Breathtaking! Majestic! Words are not enough. Thank you! Thank you for sharing! Safe trip ahead. Love you guys.
Hi. This video brings back beautiful memories. My son served a LDS mission in this area from 2002 to 2004. When he returned home we with our 2 daughters returned to see some of the places that he served in. We traveled to Lethbridge, up to Calgary, then to Banff then down to Fernie. This drive through BC was so absolutely beautiful. We also stop to see the big truck 😊 we left Canada thru Cardston and Glacier park. We live in south eastern Idaho so it wasn't to far of a drive. I would love to go back, but it's harder to get i to Canada now than it was 20 years ago. Love your channel. ❤
Hello! Love the video. Just wanted to say, I've been watching your son Dan's channel. At his age that young man has a God given talent for working with his hands. I could see him being extremely successful flipping homes/properties if he wanted to. This young man's work ethic should be an inspiration to his generation.
I have a couple oil drip pans for those big coal mine trucks. Made of an inch thick rubber 4 feet wide and 8 feet long. Great swimming pool for my big dogs. I love travelling with you along your journey. The picture taking is awesome. Everything points upwards to the Lord God creator of the heavens and earth and all that dwells therein. Thank you Jesus and thank you Epic Family Roadtrip for showing us all the beauty and wondrous rivers and streams, mountains and meadows.
Absolutely stunning views! When you see more animals than people, well that's a good thing in my opinion 😊Thank you for sharing! I always enjoy the mountainous views! It's the only way I prefer to travel these days as I get older.
Incredibly WILD!
Oh wow, Oh Canada!!! How beautiful Alberta is south of Banff, simply Amazing videos you guys were able to film. Thank you both so much!
We spent several days exploring the Kananaskis and other stunning places around Canmore. Your drive-though doesn't reflect what we experienced on the many trails and hikes. The Kananaskis has so much more beauty than what you see through the car windows.
Happy travels, Dieter
Wow. Great footage in this episode. That's a beautiful piece of country.
Kananaskis county Is my favourite place in the world.
We are watching EFRT while on an epic road trip
Wow! What amazing scenery! It's also an amazing adventure you are on and thank you for bringing us along.
Stunning. Absolutely beautiful!
Glad you turned south rather than north after Radium. The Icefield highway that we drive so often made me bawl like a baby last trip. So much destruction of so many beautiful places.
Thanks for the road trip. I'm glad to see the mountains as the last two times I've come from western bc to Alberta it's been raining and I couldn't see the mountains. Love the wildlife and scenery. You are so good at your voice overs and conversations. Music is nice too.
Incredible job EFRT. One of the very best yet! Both of you inspire me to be in awe and gratitude for so many places I've yet to see. Peace to you
That was gorgeous! Hard to pick just one or two things I enjoyed. At times, I couldn't tell the mountains from the sky. And the animals, wow! That was Heavenly. ❤. Thank you for sharing so much.
as always love seeing your videos every week thank you for taking us in this journey ❤️ from Victoria.

Thank you. ❤️
We remember seeing you near Radium where we were camping just off of a forest service road several years ago. You have put on a lot of miles since then! Safe travels and enjoy your trip across Canada.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventure with us. As a Canadian, i'm so happy that other ppl get to see our beautiful country
Your awe, respect and constant amazement of creation is one of the many things that endear me to your videos. Absolutely beautiful scenery . Thank you so much for taking us along. Stay safe and God bless.
And hopefully Lord willing, one day I will, See you down the road.
Of all the places I've been, the Canadian Rockies are the most beautiful! Great video!
Que belleza esos paisajes!! Los rios con ese color del agua sencillamente espectacular!! Un gran saludo desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Stayed in Canmore at the WorldMark Resort and went hiking. Went up and hiked Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Took ski lift across the highway from Lake Louise where we saw four grizzly bears. Headed up the Jasper Highway one early morning and it was beautiful seeing the lakes with sunrise shining on them. Went out on Attabasca Glacier and walked on the Glass Walkway. Loved Alberta. It's the best of the Provinces I have been to.
Absolutely amazing and just beautiful ❤
I've used a gel type bug and tar remover like the one you used. But as a gel, I also applied a thin layer on the front of the truck after it's clean to keep a thin layer of product on there and it really helps to keep the mess to a minimum and makes future cleaning a breeze. It also worked for the leading edges on the wings and the windscreen of my small plane.
Good morning EFRT. Thank-you for bringing us along on your Epic journey. I was thinking this morning, that I need to get out and have a much needed adventure..... but there is something unique and special about your videos, that make me feel like I am right there with you. Well done... and Thank-you for doing what you do.
I am sure enjoying this series. Such beautiful country we live in and so many don't know about it. Unfortunately I have only seen parts of it over the years, except for my home province of SK, of which I have seen a lot of it from road and air. You got some stunning shots - but I had to smile at the drone shot beside the river...it looked like you were hugging the cliff wall pretty close. Understandable. Thanks again for taking us along.
Glad you’re enjoying the series. Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful scenery and praying for the first responders!
Beautiful area. Make me want to take a permanent vacation and go!
Hey guys good to see you in Alberta every videos are awesome really enjoyed ❤ cheers……
❤❤❤WOW❤❤❤ Thank you for taking the diffrent road for us to see as well ❤❤❤
Loved this video! We were just in Montana on the Kootenai and at Glacier NP last month. It was so cool to see some BC and Alberta places we visited a few years ago and it makes me want to go back to Canada!

The bull river part is well worth it if you’s come back this way :)
Would love to put dots on map in this area.
Great video. Many thanks for sharing.
Great views, a wonderful trip but we could not hear much of what you were saying but then suddenly would have to turn the volume way down. Not sure if anyone else experienced that but thought we would mention it since we like to hear what you two narrate. Thank you.
Wow the beauty of this trip, just looks so spectacular an peaceful 😊

Macie Shores
That truck dust was crazy! Loving this adventure. Oh I remember the drone loss episode! YES and stopping to enjoy the views.
Canada! 🇨🇦
Watching this from del Mar dog beach San Diego. Good to see mom and dad kicking ass!! Timmy C Arizona
Love del Mar!
Niagra falls is cool and all but Letchworth Nashonial park is where all the locals go. Go in the south entrance and everything is in easy walking distance and is 100 % better than the touristy Niagra. We spen over half the day in Letchworth and 30 min in Niagra. 🙂
While in Alberta, time allowing you folks need to check out forestry trunk road.
Thanks
YAY! Gooooooood morning EFRT!!

Wonderful video, you need to more on individual mi mics on person
Good day! Love your videos and the content along with your information. Unfortunately, we can't always understand or hear what either of you are saying when in truck driving down the road. Please consider couple microphones.
Just wondering...before Rossmonster your water filtration preference was the LifeStraw. Is that still used with the Jeeps? This episode was great, fantastic views. Thanks for sharing.
