No. A used phone is just a second hand phone with no warranty. A refurbished phone was been fixed and tested by professionals to restore it and comes with a warranty.
All you got to do is go get the screen fixed go get it repaired go get a case on the phone go get another screen protector and fix it why are you complaining about something that is good condition

I had good luck with refurbished phones from Ebay. In good conditions and 1 warranty helps too.

The excellent i bought was almost like new, battery life was 97%, some come with 100% battery life
