"Show" is what it is. Instead of ripping the tape off and letting the wasps invade the house, he should have peeled back a corner, stuck the vacuum nozzle underneath, and let it do its thing.

You think those queen yellowjackets are big, I've been driving my trains through European Hornet swarms for the last month. Those things are only a touch smaller than an A10 warthog!

Have been a subscriber for a while and love the good hearted and positive nature of the chanel. So this is a stupid comment on something Bee related that happened to me recently. I was sitting outside at a bar and grill the other day and was stung on my lower back (a polite description of the actual location) by bee's that were flying around a trash can. I am 61 and I do not remember the last time I was stung. The pain diminished quickly but a hard itchy knot formed that lasted for 3 to 4 days and during this time had to drive 8 hours from Louisville to Little Rock. I don't know how you deal with all of the stings you guys get.

Yellow jackets are the nastiest flying creatures on the planet.

I'm glad you made it to Nocolula Fals. Being raised in Gadsden I remember it brfore it was a park botanical garden, petting zoo, mini railroad ride place thingy. It was in the 1950's when I grew up there just a beautiful place to camp and fish and play.
That old church has a vacant lot to the left, I lived there for 12 years! The cinema has a trucking company that works out of, my youngest son drives for them! Love the pics!

'The strongest part of the whole wall' was IT for me! Bet you didn't have to talk to Tommy even slightly harshly to get him to go eat and I see Sir Yappus lived through the ordeal along with The King. Thanks, Pal and there are waterfalls here you can walk behind and some folks tried to walk on top of and didn't survive. Gravity, slick rocks, water and idiots don't fare well. Several die from it ever year. GBWYall!

I don't know that I would trust Yappy for somewhere to stay. It might be an old squirrel or crow nest . I don't think I could eat catfish for 12 hours. Looks like you could get a few 5 frame nucs out of that colony of yellow jackets for those that like adventure.
I had to hold Yappy down to keep him from trying to frame them up.

I am going to give Mr. ED a hard time about not going. Looks like he missed a good time, and an opportunity to put his sticker over yours on the vaccum...If he had of come, that would have have three of my favorite bee/hornet men together...and Yappy was awesome, too!
Also, too, "Mr. Ed" (Every time I even SEE that name, it makes me think about that old TV Show by that same name! I can just see it now... Ol' Wilbur Post, out in the Barn, a'talkin' to his Horse, Mr. Ed)! Anyway!!! Please forgive me for getting side-tracked there..."Mr. Ed uses a special app on his Cellphone, that gives you a heat signature, and tells you where the Bees (& any other little crawlin' nasties), are, such as Yellow Jackets, Hornets, Wasps, and such.
These three gentlemen really needed to use something like that to find just where them ol' stingers are. Looks like these three ol' boys have the same idea. That's great!

I just discovered that brake cleaner work instantly on them, even midflight. Stone cold dead. It is made of the stuff used for dry cleaning so it is cloth safe too. $2-3 a can. I found raid took its time killing them and sometimes they keep living at 2-3x the price.
Randy? Did you go to the water fall ?? No Mam I sure didn’t I was a good boy !!! Lol 😂 but that is weird seeing yellow jackets 🐝 in the house.. I see probably 90% in the sandy ground around me .. but do find them in farm buildings

Tell ya, I surely wouldn't have left drinks with straws or ANYTHING but screw caps anywhere near such a hive....roofer friend had a worker who took an open can on a roof, got a mouthful of yellowjackets and a long hospital stay, almost died.

I had a customer about five years ago that came home to two of the windows covered in there basement and these where escape windows. The nest pushed out the insolation and they poured out into the room.
