Impossible to describe to someone who was never at a shaka dance what it was like. Unique unique unique nothing like it on earth so grateful to have experienced it.
Guys please believe me this was Shaka all the time ,, it’s been a while since he mashed up the dance but I seen him all over this nation playing like this a yes thank god that I been here the same time as this man ,,can’t you see he has a touch of god in him ,that’s why he’s perfect at what he does ,,and he done this through many years of dance hall,,I used to look at my younger generation thinking they must think I’m Shaka crazy but today we are all in the ghetto Shaka done this ,he gained a following over years of people talking about Shaka sessions ,you must see a learn that the message is powerful and love and peace and education,,,love people bless

When are we gonna get a proper SHAKA DVD featuring the man himself telling his own story - beginnings, playing live, studio work, releases, etc. That story has not been told yet!
Big respect to Jah Shaka for carrying the roots torch forward and educating the people for so long about this greatest of music. I have to say however that for many people who have discovered the music in the last 20 years or so they seem to believe that Shaka is the only sound in England of any distinction. As someone who played sound from 1975 - 1990 and went to hundreds of sessions during that time there were many sounds who contributed greatly to the musical pot. Sir Coxsone, Jah Tubby, President Sound, Jungleman, Baron Hi Fi, Wassifa, Quaker City....the list goes on and on - the sound system scene was much more than just one sound system and that should be remembered and celebrated.
Me inna sound business from 70's and yes nuff sounds in England for true, think the johnny come latelies talking of 2000 and onwards they don't really understand so forgive them

Well after seeing and hearing this Shaka session I'll find it hard to watch any other session that will give such fullfilment. Last tune please for me too if any ideas. Raspec!
