The two of you had such a good flow going before rudely being interrupted. People in the neighborhood were perfectly happy seeing the unkept weeds and trash and had nothing to say until you came to do work, then all they do is stand around and criticize instead of grabbing a tool and helping. As someone who has been and mixed from the lowest levels to the highest levels of society, I'm guessing the 'Director' is the useless man in the blue shirt. @Cleanup89-ik2ci May I tell you how we used to do it here in southern Germany, where I live? In smaller towns or villages, we had a “Kehrwoche” every weekend. In English: Cleaning week. Every Saturday, a different family had to clean the sidewalk and a small part of the street along the house they lived in. The following week another family, living in the same house, had to do it. It was a tradition. But since the administration took over, it seems to have been forgotten and almost nobody does it anymore. So you deserve my biggest applause for what you do!

The City is only responsible for cleaning roads not sidewalks. That's the homeowner's - or landlord's - responsibility. Two owners are complaining because it shows their lack of responsibility. Sidewalks are supposed to be clean, clear of trash and in good repair so citizens can walk safely. That has not been the case for years.

Great job. I share your desire to see a clean environment and I often pick up rubbish people have dropped or thrown out of car windows and nobody else bothers to do anything about it. I don’t like getting my hands dirty but I prefer getting rid of the rubbish and most of it isn’t really dirty anyway. I’ve never gone as far as you have here and I take my hat off to you both!

Otra vecina que solo crítica, estaba cortando el césped de todo el conjunto y se atrevió a decir que tenían que pedirle permiso para apoyar el pasto y que tenían que avisar, a lo cual se respondió que se había avisado y se colocaron carteleras para informar y que colaborarán para recoger el pasto, me dio mal genio por la actitud de esa señora, y le dije a la otra señora tranquila que cuando se le estén metiendo las ratas y las culebras en la casa de ella, también tendrá que ella pedirle permiso a estas para que dejen cortar el pasto, y dicho y echo, a los ocho meses de no cortarse el pasto en el conjunto se le estaban metiendo estos animales y hay si fue a pedir auxilió para que hicieran limpieza jajajaja la gente no agradece hasta que no ve la necesidad 😢😅😅

In smaller towns or villages, we had a “Kehrwoche” every weekend. In English: Cleaning week.
Every Saturday, a different family had to clean the sidewalk and a small part of the street along the house they lived in. The following week another family, living in the same house, had to do it. It was a tradition.
But since the administration took over, it seems to have been forgotten and almost nobody does it anymore.
So you deserve my biggest applause for what you do!

Firstly, well done, good job giving back to the community. Secondly, next time don’t clean up rich people’s areas & mess. They don’t deserve it & on top of it they were rude, arrogant & looked down on your good deeds by sneering at you guys. They can afford to up keep their own areas. Lastly, I would recommend that you guys go to the underprivileged areas & communities to do your community service works etc. Most of these people don’t have the means & time cos they are too busy working round the clock to support & feed their families. The City is only responsible for cleaning roads not sidewalks. That's the homeowner's - or landlord's - responsibility. Two owners are complaining because it shows their lack of responsibility. Sidewalks are supposed to be clean, clear of trash and in good repair so citizens can walk safely. That has not been the case for years.

Otra vecina que solo crítica, estaba cortando el césped de todo el conjunto y se atrevió a decir que tenían que pedirle permiso para apoyar el pasto y que tenían que avisar, a lo cual se respondió que se había avisado y se colocaron carteleras para informar y que colaborarán para recoger el pasto, me dio mal genio por la actitud de esa señora, y le dije a la otra señora tranquila que cuando se le estén metiendo las ratas y las culebras en la casa de ella, también tendrá que ella pedirle permiso a estas para que dejen cortar el pasto, y dicho y echo, a los ocho meses de no cortarse el pasto en el conjunto se le estaban metiendo estos animales y hay si fue a pedir auxilió para que hicieran limpieza jajajaja la gente no agradece hasta que no ve la necesidad 😢😅😅

The guy in the blue shirt is pathetic. Standing there ordering you around, but doing nothing but being in the way.
They do not actually do it for free. The videos of the clean up go on the internet and they make good money off the videos. So they do get paid for their work. This video got over 2 million views. That is very good money indeed.

Either way they did a great job of making the place better for everyone. I was just pointing out how the idiots that gave them a hard time were clueless. One man even said he could think of no reason for doing what they were doing. I was just pointing out his error. I admire what the 2 people did. A great job of cleaning up an eyesore plus providing themselves a living.

Don't worry in places the authorities threaten to charge ppl for fixing potholes in roads because the muncipality refuses to do their work.
