Don’t overlook those embroidery kits, that were in the bin on the lower level. Dimensions and Bacilla NIP kits can bring big money! I’ve paid .99 and sold for $45 plus shipping.

I was checking out your store yesterday and saw how much you had listed recently! Amazing job! Also… I live about an hour and 1/2 north of you in Central Pa and the thrifting here is AMAZING! Went to a new thrift store abt 40 mins away yesterday and didn’t realize it but they put everything single thing on 50% off the last Sat of the month and I had just happened to stumble in on that day! I got some amazing scores! I couldn’t help but think how much fun it would be to go thrifting with you! If you and Roger are ever up for a road trip, please let me know! I would be happy to show you around these parts and take you to some of the best thrift stores in the area.

It blows my mind that your Goodwill stores Honor the half price tag sale for shoes and hard goods. Ours does not and I am in Pennsylvania also. My local Goodwill is small, and they take carts out on the floor the day before the color tag change And pull all of the hard goods with the color tag that is coming up the next day for half off. It’s so bizarre. You would think they would just want to sell the stuff that’s sitting there not selling.

Duvets: when we lived in Europe, my spouse and I traveled to London and one of the items she brought back to our place in Italy was an interesting Duvet set. In addition to the Duvet cover, the set had 2 down comforters (1 thick, the other thin). The idea was that you used the thick 1 for Spring and Fall, the thin by itself for Summer and both went inside the Duvet for Winter. Very useful since most houses there lacked central heat.

As an American who has moved to England almost 30 years ago, I first found applying duvet covers over duvets very challenging! Lol! I too, have seasonal duvets.
After 28 years of living here, I was taught a trick which now takes only minutes to apply the cover!
I was taught to wash your duvet cover inside out, after duvet has dried, find the upper two corners of duvet, then carefully apply the cover over duvet. Then arrange the lower corners of duvet cover to match up with corners of duvet. Then finally snap the bottom cover up.
It literally takes me two minutes now versus ten minutes before learning this tip!

I noticed you usually always have a larger purse that sits down in your shopping cart. Have you ever considered a smaller purse possibly a cross-body bag that you can actually have attached to you at all times? I say this because I was in a thrift store when a lady had someone reach into her purse and steal her wallet. Plus it would take up less room. This is just a thought I had. I always carry a cross-body bag when thrifting.

I didn't find too much, but I did get a beautiful vintage mirror and some depression glass (all for my own collection). I'll probably stop by another one today. That hot chocolate bar display was pretty popular with Rae Dunn collectors and people who go all out with holiday decor. There were several made for the different holidays. I know I saw them for Thanksgiving and Halloween also, and there was a green/red one that people really wanted for grinch theme decor. It might not have been bad for a market place piece at half the price they had it.

Shell Belts: we used to see similar shell belts used to hold wrap style muumuu island wear and swim suit cover-ups closed and cinched at the waste, when we lived in Hawaii. The shells were usually smaller though, like the third belt you showed. My wife had some that were wide elastic band style belts, with a single large real shell buckle. If the muumuu print was a more monochrome pattern (reds or oranges) those shells would really stand out.

I think she put it back because she didn't have the full set which only comped for about $20.00.

Those shoe trees not stretchers. They hold the shape not meant to stretch them.

I love watching you shop. Your energy amazes me. I was wondering if the background music is a copyright issue.

Pretty sure that was a home made quilt. The quilting was done by a very expensive home-quilting machine. Not saying you should by it. Just wanted you to know.

Love thrifting and love everything you found...the carts were fun. Always have to check out the luggage as the handles sometimes get broken inside and are difficult to open. Some of the prices were just too high for resale. But nice finds and love the seashell belts. Very Caribbean....

Somebody told me to go through in one direction and when done, go around in the opposite direction. The eye notices things differently that way. Have found it does work, I always see something second time around that I completely overlooked before. Thanks for your videos, so interesting and always learn so much from you.

The large iron candle stick is from Southern Living at Home. It was sold back in the early 2000s in their catalog. I used to be a consultant back then and I still have 2 of them.

Karen, at 12:43, I spy a gravy boat in blue and white China that I’d absolutely love to buy!! Your camera pans by it immediately after you state that they separate by color still and that helps you greatly. May I teqyou check it out for me, pretty please??
