I did a muff delete only and left the stock resonators. I think it sounds pretty good just doing that, deleting both sounds awful and too loud from what I've seen. The guy had to do a custom Y pipe I guess since it was only a single pipe into the stock muffler that split to 2 tips. Kinda weird I guess lol. Anyways great videos bro, subscribed!
2:50 Exactly. This man is right. AFE high flow filters with stock airbox is WAY better for power & reliability versus short ram intakes. Best bang for your buck, & not THAT much worse than the long tube setup like he has. Still draws in more than enough air for a 300hp car.
Ya but u can get a long tube for around 400-500 bucks and it does make more power then that. Also I’ve never heard anyone with “reliability” problems from a long tube intake. U could argue water possibilities but I’ve driven in pouring rain with no intake covers and still been fine
For daily drivers, I will say wheels and tires absolutely yes. But lowering your car with aftermarket suspension is a no, unless it's a race car or show car.
Getting a little bit of moisture in your engine or intake tubes isn’t going to do anything major especially when you’re running a high fuel ratio is things been in pretty big of rain. Storms never had a problem.
@@kapow_g37 im actually very intrested to know more about what its like to have exposed intakes as im looking at getting or makeing some so if you could say all the goods and bads about them it would be greatly appreciated thanks
@ honestly nothing too bad. I can tell when it rains pretty hard that they might be letting in a little bit of water or struggling to get air, but nothing has ever really happened, you can also buy covers that can prevent them from getting water in the engine.

The oem headlights are much nicer than the alpharex “gtr” headlights
I personally think the alpha Rex are a little better than the stock just because it’s a different design

There’s already slots in the intakes for the MAF sensor. It’s literally just two screws on each side very easy to do!
