Hi - what is it you’re doing, resetting the adblue number of starts message after refilling the DEF? Taking the Adblue system off line completely? Resetting the message that arises when the DEF pump or reductor heater has malfunctioned and you’ve repaired or replaced it? I just came across this video in a search about GLK DEF tank/ heater/ pump DTC codes, which I have now. The reason I ask is to know the reason you have to reset. To see if we’re in the same boat. I have a 2013 GLK 250 and the def fluid is full but the counter is still telling me only 5 starts left. How do I reset the counter? I have had several sensors (check engine lites) spent already about $1700 to get it fixed and worked for about two weeks. Now engine lite on again and back to count down. Is this a module you purchased? are you bypassing the def? Very interested in a solution because i love the car. But the expense of maintaining this exhaust system is getting out of control. let me know. thanks!
