The transformation is [almost] complete! It’s so exciting to finally see the bumper on the car. The paint is a perfect color match with the body of the car, and the fitment looks like it came from the factory. I’m impressed with how well this turned out. Getting the new LCI bumper to work with my pre-LCI car was a little bit of work and required some light modification, but the end result was worth it!

That's why I just added the OEM M-Sport Lip extension on my pre-lci E92. Didn't have to worry about underbelly or fog lights. it was tough but fun

Nice! Looks great ;) about the kidney grills, if you don't want to change the hood you can actually split the lci grills into 2 pieces, remove the frame of the grill and only use the part that attaches to the bumper itself. If you are into DIY, you can make a new frame that's going to cover all the clips of the grill, will look much thinner than the actual frame and will allow you to close the pre lci bonnet without any issues. On my e91 I tried to use pre lci kidney grills attached with zip ties at first then when the route I just explained, but ended up installing a lci hood. Good luck! Can't wait for the next video :)

You can always check ebay, but the problem is a lot of times large parts like this are local pickup only because they are a hassle to ship

It is looking awesome! Congrats, however I really really hope you can make the grills fit only by cutting them. Cause as far as I remember, the hitler moustache is not the same size as the grills.

Do they sell this bumper in pre LCI form, looking online on site you got yours it did have the pre LCI option, wondering what difference is, figure with pre LCI you wouldn't have Grille issue, or fog light issue, Just curious. Looks great on the car though that's for sure.
The pre lci version would fit perfectly with no modification, but it’s a different/ older design. The lci version looks more updated and aggressive. For me it was worth the extra work to make the lci one work on my car. Do a google image search for both so you can see them side by side 😎
I do like the LCI version and your right, to get it to look its best its worth the extra work, which isn't that much actually based on your videos. Thanks for replying to my comment

nice man! I wanna do this to my E90... 6:07 with the engineering background I have I may think a little differently but why not just cut either end and swap um? Eith with butt connectors and heat shrink or solder🤷🏻♂️ just sayin...anyway this vid is long past but just wanted to tell ya it looks good 💪🏼

I’ve done this with my 330i 6 speed manual along with a full interior refresh with alcantara on all trim pieces, reupholstered steering wheel and full suspension upgrade. Now just looking for wheels! Great video and car. Keep them coming! What camera are you using?

I don’t think so. The LCI bumper has different screw mount locations on the underside

Hey Bro. It seems to me you chose the more complicated way of doing this. I have the exact same model as you, and I bought a M tech bumper from a car that came from factory with the M Tech package, and it was just bolt on.
I wanted the LCI M Sport bumper. This was just my personal prefrence. I know it’s more work, but to me it looks better

Just help me out here a bit please. I have a 2007 328xi so pre LCI. The options on KiesMotorsport for bumpers include pre LCI and LCI. Why are you choosing the LCI? Shouldn’t I bet picking the pre LCI m3 bumper conversion? Or is there drastic differences? Bit confused on that. Thanks!
