What’s a good upgrade to start with for a first time diy? By the way, love your build. I have a 2014 white 435i mSport, 120k miles still figuring out what I want to do, but know performance is at the top of list.
next build on the 435i you should change your taillights and headlights
I give this guy props for having the money/funds/resources to not only buy a 435i but to also throw more money at it. This build is nothing but bolt-ons and the only custom work was the slight body work and the steering wheel, which he did neither. You guys have to be honest with yourselves, this is not creativity. I am only hating because I don't have this type of money, lol, but if I did I would not spend it on building a BMW with off the shelve parts. I would build an e46 with an S65 engine. Or restore an E30 and drop an S54, or buy an E84 35i and convert it to a RWD only with a manual transmission. Now that's real art and creativity.

Some people want a build, plus the 35i models are basically M cars, Twin Turbo straight 6 engine.

The m vehicles share very little. Transmission different, engine different, suspension different, electronics different, programming different, there's so much different from a 335i, 435, 340, 440 than an M variant.
