André Chapelon one of the Greatest Mechanical Engineers & Designers of Advanced Steam Locomotives.
"all pictures" are the copyright of the original owners, these are from my own personal collection, directly scanned from my French books.
with the exception of a few the locomotives from 1:25 to 2:52 are Chapelon's never produced engines, the 4-6-4 Tank Locomotive Engine Number 232-51-1 seen on my video at 2:06 was in the process of being constructed but sadly work was haltered as the SNCF decided to pursue electrification instead.
