I see troopers here in NYC.. Although, they are higher than NYPD, they do not have jurisdiction on city streets. The bridges they are sitting there for speeders.
They have jurisdiction all across NYS, including any city, town, or village streets. They’re primary focus is the thruways hence the looking for speeders
@@M21655 You are right I am sorry. They are the highest police in the state and can go anywhere. I meant They can arrest on streets and have the ability to pull anyone over but they do not. They just let the city police do their job and do not interfere with the city cops jurisdiction. They are on highways!!
