They need proper background replacement that looks realistic like Photoshop. For pictures that don't show the floor you can use Evoto's background replacement but if the floor is showing you need to use Photoshop because with Evoto shadows are gone and no defined floor so it looks like person is floating in space. If they can fix the background replacement I won't need Photoshop
Yes it's a little bit toooo clean in Evoto - if they had an opacity slider where you could dial back the effect - and retain shadows /depth that would be better I think.
My biggest problem with evoto is the before / after selection. If I make a skin smoothing change, I can’t see what this specific change , I can only see original photo Let me see what this specific edit has done… not all the adjustments.
Yea I hit the spacebar to toggle edit/no edit but it's an "all or nothing" toggle so no advanced controls for each panel or adjustment - yet. They do keep adding features so I think a lot of this stuff will hopefully be added in the future!
Nice vidoe Greg, i've tried Evoto for a week, just because i was curious, but no, nothing there for me, i stick with Photoshop/Lightroom 😊 i pay only 12 euro a month for Photoshop (and Beta) and Lightroom, that's about 12 US dollar...
Agree the price is a bit hefty in comparison to what you get with Adobe - the primary time saver for me is if I have a subject with not so good skin / facial blemishes Evoto saves me quite a bit of time as I can fix a batch of shots with one slider and then sync them all. Along with the background cleanup, those two features keep me using it. Thanks for watching!
