- One of the first things we had to do on the farm was getting a good water source operational. In this video, we cover our adventure of driving a sand point well by hand.
It was just little man and I today but we got the job done in under 4 hours! Total cost for everything was under $400 and we have enough left over to do another well.
We hit water in 6ft!!

Liked the time lapse.
I just ordered the cast iron pitcher pump and also the spike. I am going to get everything else I need pretty soon can't wait to do ours, I need free water for my garden and chickens and what ever else. It tastes as good as it smells!!!
It took a while it to clear up. Due to what was used on the farm over the years, I filter everything we pump out through our birkey.
@@FromSpringFarmsI didn't think it was necessary to say any thing since the vid is post installation but if you put the pipe dope on all except the first 2-3 threads at the end of the pipe you won't taste the pipe dope. But I think you guys did a wonderful job. I've been watching a ton of vids about tapping a well that why I know

Ya know, we feel super silly for not adding that. No idea why other than our excitement! We will post a short. It pumps great and is ice cold!!

time lapse is good, but the volume is too low.
What county and state is your farm in?
We are in West Michigan.
We have the same problem here in florida we can’t find the pipes for well. Very disappointed. We have been trying everywhere.
Cause drilling lobbyst are just wantyou to spend 8,000 or more
