    Hey William, I love this performance too. You might check out the music video put out by the film, it shows a lot of cool snippets of the film. I wish they would release it in the US. It got held up by Covid hitting and other than a movie festival I don’t think it has been aired since. Looks like great sci-fi film.

    William, thanks again for another great reaction video. This song is absolutely genius. From what I read in an article pertaining to this song, Piergiuseppe Zaia wanted the best singer in the world to sing his song. So his assistant went on Google and found Dimash. I believe it took 3 different singers to present the song to Dimash, who loved it immediately. Let that sink in. 3 different singers of different vocal ranges presenting a song that spans nearly 4 octaves to a singer with a nearly 7 octave range. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Also, that E5-E6 octave jump was absolutely mesmerizing to me! That E6 was strong, powerful and sounded so much like an electric guitar. 🎸🎸🎸

    • @BangkokVoiceCoach

      Yep that E5 switch to E6 is one if these things ever!!! You’re right, it’s like an electric guitar.

    Dimash is a blessing and a voice that comes only once in a thousand years or more, how lucky we are to be here to witness the excellence of him and he just keeps getting better. We have heard him use a 7.7 octave sung range G0-D8, believe it or not, it's not his limit, but he clearly said he can go higher, but his goal is to make beautiful meaningful songs, not set world records and I do believe he could if he wanted too. And he is really an example human being, he is beautiful in his sincerity, values and humbleness, and much more could be added.

    • @BangkokVoiceCoach

      @@BangkokVoiceCoach I agreed with you both. Dimash is pretty well known in the music industry, especially pro vocalists and muscians and producers community. Believe or not, he may not be a cup of tea or music for common audiences now which are younger people, who voted and are gravitated towards the catchy pop musics, especially us uk pop music charts, or better calling it “ easy music”
      . I do believe with that much of talent and insane unbelievable vocal capacity , he is definitely acknowledged by big names in the world music industry any country he comes, whether or not they claim they may not know him on social media. Who knows. Just like someone new comes to the game, then the old folks will look and check right away. And Dimash hits the fame internationally for like 5-6 years now , so of course he must be heard and checked out by big names in the industry.
      He is now in Los Angeles. I heard he may stay there for a year. Already, he has met and hung out with some talents as well as big names in the industry such as David Foster and Walter. If you have Instargram, you can follow Dimash on there for updates. They hung out and chatted , he said they work on the colab between him and those 2 big producers/ musicians.

Did u know that the composer took in a Baritone, a tenor and a soprano to illustrate to Dimash how he wanted the song ... 😂 of couse D did them all ❤️❤️❤️ Please, u need to check out "El amor en Ti" composed by Dimash, his gift to all his Spanish speaking Dears (atm I need to listen at least once a day)

      Еще хочу сказать, что с детства изо всех исторических костюмов мира особо выделяла именно казахские, особенно женские (Мммм... Красота необыкновенная!). Почему, не знаю. Но мне они казались самыми красивыми. Вообще, как бы ни ругали СССР, но его принцип развития интереса и привития дружелюбия к культуре содружественных республик во многом способствовал привитию любви и толерантности к народам, не похожим на тот, где ты вырос. Я не касаюсь политики и других вопросов, конечно. Много было и несправедливости, и подавления. Это я понимаю. Мне 49 лет, я много читаю, смотрю, узнаю. Вижу, сколько зла на Земле от желания власти, сколько интриг и боли. Всем желаю мира, здоровья, любви и душевной чистоты. Любите Бога в людях и животных, как бы ни назывался ваш Бог.

    The composer (Piergiuseppe Zaia) initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film, and the title of the piece is "The Story of Jesus". When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits. Sony released Dimash's track last year with a video, using green screen and FX in which Zaia inserted Dimash into scenes from his science fiction film. Here are the original movie trailer and Dimash's studio version: th-cam.com/video/9efIWFhD8a4/w-d-xo.html Across Endless Dimensions - Studio Version th-cam.com/video/B-AShDu7L6A/w-d-xo.html

    You are one of the outstanding professionals on TH-cam. I'm glad you mentioned falsetto, sometimes I think some people only have theoretical knowledge (this is also doubtful) and they don't understand what they are listening to. Some Opera singers say that Dimash uses falsetto when he uses head voice and flageolet. He is male and they think he sings like a counter tenor but they don't understand the quality of the voice? resonance? I am surprised sometimes. He is trained as a soprano with bel canto technique.the Bel Canto technique does not address the falsetto register, as it is not considered part of your real voice, and there is a very limited range of repertoire that calls for it. Since he uses all kinds of techniques and styles, you have to have a lot of knowledge in different directions to fully appreciate him. It's obvious that you understand what you're saying and appreciate his skills. Love your analysis, more dimash ♥️.

    • @BangkokVoiceCoach
      @BangkokVoiceCoach  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely not falsetto. There is too much body to the resonance and it is fully connected to the rest of his voice. How does he do it? Actually, I think he’s got a very rare anatomy that allows him to cover this huge vocal range.

    • @shalllll7261
      @shalllll7261 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BangkokVoiceCoach I think the same.his Head voice is produced with a continued full resonant tone. A person cannot achieve such a result only by training (when the singer tries to exceed his limit and forcefully sing the notes, it is very noticeable) and the most important thing is that he sings very naturally. As if this is his natural register. The tonal quality of his voice is brighter and more pure sounding.

    Hello William and thanks for yet another great reaction of Dimash. I would like to comment on the pronounciation improvment. Yes, Dimash has improved a lot. Not all of his later songs have as good pronounciation as this. My guess is that Zaia really provided Dimash with good vocal coaching and wasn't satisfied with a "fairly" understandable english as some of Dimash's other songs from the same period of time or later. I wish Dimash would ask for that kind of guidance in his coming works as well. I think Dimash needs to concentrate quite hard to keep up the pronounciation in english during performances. I suspect this performance is playback. Very common in the russian performances unfortunately. That doesn't diminish Dimash's ability to sing the song live. And I am sure Dimash will improve his oronounciation further as he keeps speaking more english and as he will spend time studying in the USA. I am very well aware of the difference in placement one need to do (english is not my first language either). I have sung a simple song in kazakh and studied some russian, and it is as difficult for me to form those deep sounds in the back of your mouth as it is for Dimash to be more frontal I guess. Anyway, love the song, loved your comments.

    William...It's the old (81) Texas singer/songwriter/performer/voice teacher here. I loved your explanation of Dimash's uniquely seamlessly connected vocal range. Also, your little tip from behind the curtain about using dramatic jmovements and facial expressions to draw the audience into the drama of the performance. Dimash has developed a way to use various vocal techniques as dramatic gestures. He has always one of those who seems to have an old soul and understanding beyond his years. It is so wonderful to begin my day with your video. I hope you are doing well. I send love and blessings to you and yours.

    I think, on one level, people recognize the specialness of his voice because they haven’t heard anyone else do it. On the other hand, I think that, because he makes it look so easy, he will always have people assuming he lip syncs or autotunes his voice all the time.
    His English is definitely getting better and will improve so much more now that he will be living in the US for the next year or so.❤

      Wonderful that he has moved to L.A. for a year at least. I’m excited to hear this. You are spot on! It looks so easy and sounds so flawless that a lot of people think it’s not a live vocal.

      I dont think living in America will improve his English!
      As an English person living in the US for over 50 years I can say American English, with all its idioms, and yes, slang, is not English English, so it remains to be seen, or rather, heard, what he can learn from, and distinguish what is good English. I think his English is quite good now and he pronounces the words correctly, meaning any word that ends in 'T' , which most Americans do not. Just an observation.
