Dimash is a Kasakhi singer with the most impressive voice you've ever heard. He was invited to a show in China, called I am a singer, as a wildcard in 2017. Needless to say, he blew the chinese audience out of their socks and the rest is history, so to say. Both his parents are pro singers and he started singing and playing the piano from a very early age. He is very well educated in music, both classical and jazz. He plays several instruments and sings in multiple languages. He created a new genre and calls it neoclassical. There's so much to tell, so other Dears (his fandom) will fill you in with more information. His range is around 7-8 octaves, but none knows for sure and he continues to get better. He said it doesn't matter how many octaves, it's not what's important to him. It's the challenge in getting better all the time. I'm glad you decided to listen to this one. Kazakhstan been singing from age 5 he came in second in China's I am singer became famous after that in 2017. He is now 30 yrs old. Does all genres his fans call themselves dears. Dimash is completely a humanitarian he promotes peace and love of all man kind he became famous in China then COVID came around and it kicked his career in the fanny. He has a channel on TH-cam. He has haters but I think it's from jealous.to me the is the most versatile and intriguing singer I've ever heard. He is popular in Europe Russia and Kazakhstan China. I'm like u don't understand why he isn't popular in USA. He is gaining some but needs more recognition from more realtors and publicists. 2017 was the first time I heard Dimash sing SOS on a Chinese reality programme called The Singer 2017. I have been following him ever since and he continues to astound me, Performance after performance he blows me away, even when I think I know what to expect. Martial Arts Legend Bruce Lee quoted - "using no way as way, having no limitation as limitation " That quote applies to Dimash perfectly ! He has no style yet he is all styles. Bruce revolutionised the martial arts world. Dimash is doing that with the music world ! He cannot be classified as any one genre. The record labels want them to sell their souls to the insipid, boring crap that so many Americans eat up and make the record companies make lots and f money, at the expense of the artist's creativity. Dimash chooses to remain independent, he and his family have their own production company (DimashAli productions) so cracking into the US is a challenge, but he is working with some famous names in LA over the past year or so. He has a brand new song "When I've Got You" and the MV was released two weeks ago! He composed the music and was one of the producers and idea people. Check it out; it's amazing!!! Dimash was born into a family of musicians, his mother a renown ooera singer in Kazakhstan, he father a singer and instrumentalist that had to take on a different carreer to support the family. Dimash is the eldest child raised by his grandparents primarily. After he was born his grandmother played keys on the piano and as a toddler Dimash would make the same sound, he was born pitch perfect. At the age of 5 he was enrolled in a prestigious music school being the youngest ever excepted. Dimash not only had music in his genes, Dimash has abnormally long vocal folds that might explain his extreme range, but lets never forget the hard work put in since 5years old. You can have a gift but if you don't refine it, then it is wasted, Dimash never settled for anything less than his very best and he still carries that same work ethic. I hope that helps. P.S. Dimash has not been hiding he is everywhere on TH-cam. The mv was from a movie. The song is a soundtrack to the movie.. Dimash is the best singer in the world, no doubt. Everyone gets goosebumps the first time they hear him sing. I love watching Dimash reactions because he really blows their minds. I can say most of his music is not something I would put on my playlist, not my style of music. I did like his latest song, though that was more my taste. You should check it out. it's called when I've got you. I found Dimash back in 2018 after he blew up in China when he was on their show as a wild card in 2017 called the singer. I honestly wasn’t looking forward to this song as I’m not a big ballads guy and I had a feeling this was going to be just another love ballad. The second he started singing I realized he was different. He literally hooked me on with his smooth range transition 3 words in to the song. Like you, he wouldn’t normally be in my playlist but I’m so impressed and intrigued that I’m going to be listening to a LOT more.
Reactions That Rock - I have been watching and listening to Dimash for a few years now and I still get goosebumps and tears whenever I hear him sing this one song. One of my favorites that he sings. After that, in his own country, they wanted Dimash to join their Opera house, in his home town. I once said it will take the us at least 10 years to have Dimash known all over. That was in 2017. I am gonna have to add another 5 years. His level of music is so complicated it might not hit u from the 1st time. But tje more u listen and get to know Dimash. U will be literally feel like born again. As someone who listened to almost all rock music and genre,pop, opera, from many or almost most cultures and countries. DIMASH is the Neo of this universe.
Here’s my prediction. Some TV producer finally comes around to Dinah’s music but instead of just promoting him as an amazing singer here they try to tie him in to some ridiculous reality show. I blame the pandemic for slowing down Dimash’s global growth. Thankfully, he spent it very productively, especially working on his lower range and learning more and more singing techniques.
Dimash comes from a musical family( father is a well respected producer, mother was a singer and younger brother is a terrific guitaiist) and has been studying music since grade school age. I believe he may have a master's degree by now but I'm not sure. He won many music competitions in his youth. The videos from the Chinese singing competition tv show in 2018 seems to have been what launched him onto the radar of a lot of the world. He has millions of fans around the world( called Dears) Speaks at least 4 languages and has sung in 12 or 13 languages. This video is space themed because it's a trailer for an Italian? sci fi movie . He is able to sing beautifully in 8 octaves. there are many wonderful performances on his TH-cam channel. I Recommend S.O.S., Sinful Passion, Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert 2017( a freakin must!!!) and Daybreak to start.He wrote and produce a music video short film called The Story of One Sky( a gd masterpiece). I recommend the mv first and then his live performance of it...epic. Has sung with Placido Domingo and collabed with famed Russian composer Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to work with Dimash. His brand new song out on TH-cam "When I've Got You" is quite different from those earlier ones so I recommend viewing those older ones to get a real grasp of his capabilities first. Dimash is considered the best vocalist of our generation. He trained every day on his craft since the age of 5. He's from Kazakhstan and was offered a position at a reputable Opera house there. He passed on it as he wanted to combine Opera and pop and do his own thing. Honestly, the way he came in on word one and moved through the second word and on to the third was instantly mind blowing (although I had NO idea he was just getting started). Very few singers can move range like that so smoothly in such a short period of time… so it definitely stood out.

Dimash is a Kasakhi singer with the most impressive voice you've ever heard.
He was invited to a show in China, called I am a singer, as a wildcard in 2017. Needless to say, he blew the chinese audience out of their socks and the rest is history, so to say.
Both his parents are pro singers and he started singing and playing the piano from a very early age. He is very well educated in music, both classical and jazz. He plays several instruments and sings in multiple languages.
He created a new genre and calls it neoclassical.
There's so much to tell, so other Dears (his fandom) will fill you in with more information.
His range is around 7-8 octaves, but none knows for sure and he continues to get better. He said it doesn't matter how many octaves, it's not what's important to him. It's the challenge in getting better all the time.

2017 was the first time I heard Dimash sing SOS on a Chinese reality programme called The Singer 2017. I have been following him ever since and he continues to astound me, Performance after performance he blows me away, even when I think I know what to expect. Martial Arts Legend Bruce Lee quoted - "using no way as way, having no limitation as limitation " That quote applies to Dimash perfectly ! He has no style yet he is all styles. Bruce revolutionised the martial arts world. Dimash is doing that with the music world ! He cannot be classified as any one genre. I have always thought he has created a new genre - you have Blues, Jazz, Classical, Opera, Pop, Folk, and then you have DIMASH ! Great reaction. Why is he not signed and all over the place? The problem is the music industry itself. The record labels want them to sell their souls to the insipid, boring crap that so many Americans eat up and make the record companies make lots and f money, at the expense of the artist's creativity. Dimash chooses to remain independent, he and his family have their own production company (DimashAli productions) so cracking into the US is a challenge, but he is working with some famous names in LA over the past year or so. He has a brand new song "When I've Got You" and the MV was released two weeks ago! He composed the music and was one of the producers and idea people. Check it out; it's amazing!!!

Dimash was born into a family of musicians, his mother a renown ooera singer in Kazakhstan, he father a singer and instrumentalist that had to take on a different carreer to support the family. Dimash is the eldest child raised by his grandparents primarily. After he was born his grandmother played keys on the piano and as a toddler Dimash would make the same sound, he was born pitch perfect. At the age of 5 he was enrolled in a prestigious music school being the youngest ever excepted. Dimash not only had music in his genes, Dimash has abnormally long vocal folds that might explain his extreme range, but lets never forget the hard work put in since 5years old. You can have a gift but if you don't refine it, then it is wasted, Dimash never settled for anything less than his very best and he still carries that same work ethic. I hope that helps.

Dimash has not been hiding he is everywhere on TH-cam. The mv was from a movie. The song is a soundtrack to the movie.. Dimash is the best singer in the world, no doubt. Everyone gets goosebumps the first time they hear him sing. I love watching Dimash reactions because he really blows their minds. I can say most of his music is not something I would put on my playlist, not my style of music. I did like his latest song, though that was more my taste. You should check it out. it's called when I've got you. I found Dimash back in 2018 after he blew up in China when he was on their show as a wild card in 2017 called the singer. That show really has some great professional artists on it. My favorite from China is Hua Chenyu he was on a different year than Dimash. I recommend checking him out also. Start with Nunchucks
I honestly wasn’t looking forward to this song as I’m not a big ballads guy and I had a feeling this was going to be just another love ballad. The second he started singing I realized he was different. He literally hooked me on with his smooth range transition 3 words in to the song.
Like you, he wouldn’t normally be in my playlist but I’m so impressed and intrigued that I’m going to be listening to a LOT more.
Reactions That Rock - I have been watching and listening to Dimash for a few years now and I still get goosebumps and tears whenever I hear him sing this one song. One of my favorites that he sings. He also does Unforgettable Day and if you watch his GAKKU performance of it you will hear him hit a D8 Whistle note.

He's classically trained; plays seven instruments and sings in sixteen languages, won many awards and sings in MANY genres including pop and opera. He was invited to a show in China, called I am a singer, as a wildcard in 2017. Last year, I think (2023) he celebrated his 30th birthday. He's from Kazakhstan but competed on a show similar to the voice called I am Singer in China singing SOS in French and this is when he became known and popular world wide. He's so good that Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer came out of retirement for him. He's studied music since the age of 5 and has his master's. He sings in all genres. His parents are singers as well. His little brother is a musician. Dimash also plays multiple instruments like the piano, drums, an instrument from his country etc. He's absolutely amazing.

In December 2023 he sang an operatic duet, The Pearl Fishers, with opera legend Placido Domingo. A few days ago he released his latest MV where he sings his own composition, When I’ve Got You, as a blues singing vampire. Dimash started university music training at the age of five years old and is about to complete his PhD in Musicology. His range exceeds the piano keyboard. He has absolute pitch and unbelievable techniques. Dimash can sing in any genre, in any register, and in any language he chooses.

The video is cuts of a Sony pictures release of a movie, about Outerspace. He was commissioned to do this song for the film, he was found on the internet by one of the staff of the movie; rest is history. a hugh success for this song.

Dimash comes from a musical family. Both parents sing, and are celebrated in their country of Kazakhstan. Dimash started singing, and learning music since he was 5. He entered numerous contests in his country, and countries around Kazajistan. But it wasn’t until 2017, after Dimash sang in a talent show, called “I Am Singer,” that Dimash skyrocketed to stardom in China. After that, in his own country, they wanted Dimash to join their Opera house, in his home town. Dimash refused, because, as someone said, he wanted to do Neoclassical music, native Kazakh instruments, and remaining independent. Dimash is classically trained, but can sing ANYTHING! He has a Doctorate in Musicology, and writes a lot of his own music. “War and Peace” (the music) was part of his Masters Thesis. He also wrote “A Story of One Sky,” which took him 3 years, and “Omir” for his fans, called DEARS. You must see the MV, and the live acoustic song, with his brother, Mansur. Dimash is a BEAUTIFUL Human being, and example of how all of us should treat our fellow man. I hope you have many hours of growth and enjoyment with our Dimash! He is truly Magnificent!

I blame the pandemic for slowing down Dimash’s global growth. Thankfully, he spent it very productively, especially working on his lower range and learning more and more singing techniques.
Dimash comes from a musical family( father is a well respected producer, mother was a singer and younger brother is a terrific guitaiist) and has been studying music since grade school age. I believe he may have a master's degree by now but I'm not sure. He won many music competitions in his youth. The videos from the Chinese singing competition tv show in 2018 seems to have been what launched him onto the radar of a lot of the world. He has millions of fans around the world( called Dears) Speaks at least 4 languages and has sung in 12 or 13 languages. This video is space themed because it's a trailer for an Italian? sci fi movie . He is able to sing beautifully in 8 octaves. there are many wonderful performances on his TH-cam channel. I Recommend S.O.S., Sinful Passion, Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert 2017( a freakin must!!!) and Daybreak to start.He wrote and produce a music video short film called The Story of One Sky( a gd masterpiece). I recommend the mv first and then his live performance of it...epic. Has sung with Placido Domingo and collabed with famed Russian composer Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to work with Dimash. His brand new song out on TH-cam "When I've Got You" is quite different from those earlier ones so I recommend viewing those older ones to get a real grasp of his capabilities first. I mean, he even covered a Queen song on the Chinese show as well as Adagio and Opera 2!

Dimash is considered the best vocalist of our generation. He trained every day on his craft since the age of 5. He's from Kazakhstan and was offered a position at a reputable Opera house there. He passed on it as he wanted to combine Opera and pop and do his own thing. Now he sings in over 12 languages, many different genres (ranges from opera to rock (queen covers), to vocalizing notes with zero lyrics (using his voice as a musical instrument), etc...He's also a multi instrumentalist. He owns one of the largest voice ranges any human could have, from really deep up to a D8 (that note is a whistle note off the piano). With all this talent, he is the anti-Diva, i.e. he's super humble. He calls his fans "dears", i.e, they are dear to him. He is fluent in 4 languages. He won many international competitions when younger, but he made his big international splash on a TV reality singing competition show, "Singer", in China. He won 2nd place, the only time he didn't come in 1st place, but that's the show that made millions of people discover him. Most of his songs are masterpieces, and his different tones of voice are such that no two songs sound similar.

You’re not wrong about the western music industry. If they can’t take 95% of all net revenue and lock the talent in to insanely restrictive contracts, they don’t want to do it.

Dimash generously gave his fans (called Dears) a video show in 2021 during Covid since his concerts were put on hold. You will find an awesome version of Across Endless Dimension where there are whales as his only company. Also I reccomend highly that you take in S.O.S. from the same digital show. Dimash was introduced to the greater world with this song in a Chinese singing competition in 2017. S.O.S. is one of the most dfficult French pop songs from a rock opera called Starmania. It's now considered Dimash's "calling card" the best introduction to Dimashverse. The day after his appearance his CD went platinum in 38 seconds and the Singer show has to hire body guards for him.
Be prepared, Dimash is a shape shifter and will leave your head spinning. Pop star one time, opera singer the next. Rapping, dancing, imitating a dolphin, an angel sent from heaven and most recently a vampire in When I've Got You. At some point you will think he's an alien from space. At that point you can hear him sing the unsingable Diva Dance. Enjoy beoming Dimashified. Originally from Kasackstan he is currently residing in L.A. though he is now travelling for concerts and other projects.

He is just the best singer in the world! 😉
And believe me - before I knew him I would have fought everyone telling me something like: "there is a best singer"! 😅
It’s difficult to describe him, because I feel languages don’t have the right words to tell of the awesomeness that is Dimash.
He is from Kazakhstan, is classically trained since childhood, has several university degrees in singing and composition, has a range that goes from G0 to D8 (including chest fry and whistle notes) and sounds strong at both the lower and higher ranges.
He works very hard on his craft and has mastered! a ton of different singing techniques and his breath control is ridiculous.
And as if he weren’t perfect enough: he is also humble, goofy and really nice. (That’s why it’s basically impossible not to love him! ❤)
The composer of this song wanted Dimash to sing this and needed 3 different singers to send Dimash the demo for this song! (And the soprano had problems singing the high notes)

Honestly, the way he came in on word one and moved through the second word and on to the third was instantly mind blowing (although I had NO idea he was just getting started).
Very few singers can move range like that so smoothly in such a short period of time… so it definitely stood out.
