    Despite starting the course mid year your videos helped me to get an A*. Your explanations makes the subject way more easier than it is taught by many other teachers. I hope every A level PE student people finds this channel. Thank you so much. PS : Leaving this comment after results day 2024

    Thanks. What happens to the creatine molecule after it’s broken off of the phosphocreatine? Does it remain in the muscle and somehow will be reused ? 😊

    Hi ! James I learned alot from your video but I Stuck in one question on work sheets .
    The question is Complete the table below to describe the predominant energy systems being used in the
    100m sprint ?
    Type of Reaction ____________________
    Fuel used _____________________ I believe it is Phosphocreatine
    Site of reaction _____________________
    Primary enzyme involved ________________ I believe is Creatine kinase
    I would appreciate if you could solve this with for me and short explanation
    Thanks in advance

    If my son is practicing swinging a golf club, what is the best way for him to do it. Swing x number of times and then rest 2-3 min or swing and rest for a predetermined number (y) of seconds and then repeat for z sets?
    Thanks for the video.

    • @jamesmorris857
      @jamesmorris857  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      In order to develop the PC system Kevin it would be case of 10 seconds maximal work (or around 6-10reps) and allow for 2 minutes recovery and repeat. I would suggest though that 10 golf swings in quick succession is unlike to deplete all PC so doing some kind of resistance work (golf action but with a theraband anchored down or weights attached to a cable cross) would really develop the PC system.
