    Why do you use Ecollars?
Modern, low-level, remote Ecollar training is the best and most reliable tool to use on a dog of any size. With an Ecollar you can whisper or shout and is more humane than a leash. Dogs trained on Ecollars have more freedom and a higher quality of life because of off leash training. It is also the easiest way to communicate with a dog with severe fear or aggression issues that is so precise and clear that dogs transform in a matter of days and weeks. Certain things we need to correct for and the ecollar is a communication tool like the leash. It also provides us a transition back to the owner where the new behaviors will stick.
Why do you use prong collars?
We use prongs on most dogs over 12/14 weeks old. It is one of the safest and easiest tools to work with because of the strong communication you can achieve with your dog. Prong collars look scary, but when used properly (and it is hard to use them incorrectly) they are the most humane tool you can use because they do not put any pressure on your dogs throat like most of the tools out there. It creates a very different state of re you can quickly get through to the dog using very gentle techniques through the training phase. We do use slip leashes as well. It just depends on the dog and owner’s needs.

You can try to warm the bottle in your pocket for half an hour before using was suggested on another video. Also, maybe a blindfold might help for your dog --since you mentioned that not being able to see the bottle and therefore not triggering her anxiety through anticipation seemed to make it easier for her.

Bottle in pocket tip is good. Blindfolds really just depend on the dog. They sometimes have to be conditioned and it can be helpful.

Thank you so much for doing this video! been searching internet for help for a long time, but yours is the first video I've found about addressing the dog's issues with ear cleaning and their behavior.

Have an extremely reactive English bulldog- she is downright aggressive when it comes to the ears- Did a little bit of work with her and then unfortunately dropped it …
fast forward she has a double ear infection and I am really needing some help- slip lead? Muzzle?
She is a very smart dog , I do have my own angst around all of this because she is so reactive -
But often have to come up with changing things up quite a bit in terms of treats, when, where…
And I have a feeling I really rushed it this morning… because she just wanted to bite my head off…
    Ugh help 🙏🏻
    I really have to find a better way…. 🤦‍♀️

It's definitely the type of conditioning that has to be kept up. Think 2-3 minutes every other day for 6 months. If it's bad NOW and the dog is very problematic, you can't condition anything right now, just needs meds? We might exercise the dog harder than usual and then sedate at the drs office to get them cleaned out.

Do you recommend do that when dog is tired after a walk or better if she is not too tired? Thanks

try it! Sometimes dogs over tired can become irritated. I'd say fulfilled and a little tired is helpful.

    And a muzzle 😂😂😂😂

Well...yeah, when she tries to bite the owner, you muzzle condition a dog so they aren't sedating their dog at the vet for a simple cleaning.

Um, well, yeah. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your comment, but muzzle conditioning a dog that bites the owners is probably a smart thing to do as they are working on this. Did you think I had the muzzle on for no reason?
