as a vrchat avatar creator having your hard work ripped and stolen is one of the worst feelings possible. My commissions pay my bills and stealing someone's hard work like that is like stealing their money too. please dont steal other people's work

What about worlds.
I'd like to see alot of the worlds people have made in VRchat over in Resonite. But trying to contact most of them to do it they won't or won't even share the blender file so it can be imported and setup for a Resonite user if the creator doesn't know how to.
Ripping worlds is possible, I think its basically the same process as with avi's

water marks, anti theft (especially with AI art and the theft they do) and for 3d models im sure there's other ways to protect avatars, like impostor avatars etc@@nbshftr
@GraveyardVRC you arent just paying for an avatar dumbass, you are paying for someone to create and rig a 3d model from scratch. in any context, that would deserve payment. the issue is not in the commission itself, but the expectation that you can "own" a digital file

@GraveyardVRC those can be easily circumvented with conventional tools such as blender. removing texture watermarks is harder, but its not impossible.

not really a lot to be repaired, just import the shaders the avatar used, put it in their respective materials, remake the radial menu and toggles and fix the physbones
