I love the creator companion, It's nice to have some of the mundane importing and things done automatically, I only just figured about it recently as I've not done anything with avatars in a while and I wanted to make sure not too much has changed, thank you for the quick and to the point tutorial.

I need Help T^T every time I try to Install Unity Editor in the VrChat Creator Companion, it just says "Queuing Unity editor install" and does not seem to do anything :/
Try uninstalling vrchat creator companion and unity if you have it installed already. Then reinstall. Check logs if available and the problem persists.

It was so awesome and i will save your video as a good reminder. I did follow all your steps but i did not download the fury program since i felt that it was for something else that i maybe had nothing to use it for. But everything else i did and well i only had a verry few problems but i think that is something i can live with. I was uploading the free viking avatar named Bjorn and the long beard was invinsible but okey as i did say then i can live with that. The normal beard looked like it was some thin beard which did look okey. And one of the weapons on the back did not appear when i was putting it on in the menu wheel in vrc. I dont know how to fix some issues like that. But as long as i have it and the most of the things work and still look great then i am just verry happy. So again, thank you so much. Not any other tutorials, guides, explanations or videos have ever ben able to be clear and helpfull enough as your video was. Thats for sure. :))

i have no idea what i did differently to make it work, but for the longest time unity kept failing to build the avatar mid-upload after i attached the pc avatar id. but, i followed this to a T and it worked just fine. thanks!

4:10 the inspector tab doesn't show nothing for me when i try link the pc version id to a quest version. 😢
what if the pc and the quest version require vrcfury? should i still include that package when creating the new unity project?

The vrc sdk? If so, you need to use the recommended unity version and vrc creator companion

Cause pc's can handle more than a quest. Therefore you can get away with adding more detail to a pc version

Haha, sounds like a bug. You might need to close the project and try again. Just click save so u don't loose any progress
Is there a reason why you want to use the same ID as the PC version? Will it overwrite my PC version?
it won't do anything to the PC avatar on unity, but it will make it so on vrc the same avatar is both pc and quest compatible.

I did this and it doesn't make my pc only version also quest compatible, it just uploads a completely new one just for quest
Blueprint ID (there’s some pretty good tutorials but the blueprint id is how u merge the quest and pc version

Uhh, make sure to use the vrchat quest shaders :o You might have to select them manually for your quest version on that avatar

That sounds odd. Make sure you have the packages added and open the project through the vrc creator companion or add the sdk manually if you desire.

If you have an older avatar that you want to upload, use a 2019 avatar project instead :)
