PSA's assembly is were they lag big time imo. I've had good luck with the parts themselves, but I wouldn't use any of their products until that stuff is taken apart and put together again properly.
I couldn't agree more.. I get asked the same question all the time too and when I don't give a cut and dried answer, I get the look lol.. When I try to explain head space, function gauge, bolt face, carrier, bore, etc, testing along with the fit and fitment, I watch their eyes glaze over...Then I will explain that price does not always guarantee quality or crap and that crap can even get through some of the best reputable manufactures, (even though the odds are higher it won't) is when I seem to lose them.. There is a lot of bad information being spread on forums and in TH-cam land that makes it even harder to educate.. It is channels like yours that can make a difference..Once again I enjoy your content and I always look forward to it, keep up the good work!
@blackyzfr1, I stand corrected about Colt barrels / TDP being CHF. Hence you are correct! I actually called my Colt rep earlier for clarification!!! The process that COLT barrels used was button-broached aka COLD FORMING RIFLING! This process was used to create more accurate barrels! Oddly enough Colt Canada aka Diemaco actually used CHF barrels! BTW, I'm attempting to acquire the Diemaco TDP / Prints! I will need to correct this video asap! And I'm on the hunt for a Diemaco barrel or two! LOL Email me at srtacc.llc@gmail.com, I have some documents for you!
I have a very good friend that has one of the SHARPS BCG in Nickle Boron. I gauged it when he first got it, and it was to spec! He has about 3k rounds on it, with no issues. It cleans up pretty well. He just doesn't like the change in the color.

The unfortunate truth is ALL manufacturers are LAGGING at some point!

I like what you have to say but CHF is not TDP. They are button-broached even though the CHF is better.

@@seniortac4175 During our Colt armorers class the instructor stated Colt uses (push button) and it only takes 3 minutes to make..
