this was good but i wish you had shown the type of mic and also attached a DSLR like the canon 80 d, which is the reason I needed to watch a video of the set-up
Hi, really useful! Thanks. The external power supply could be made with any powerbank on the market or must be only made with VN powerbank (7:04)? Thanks again. Cheers mate.
the phantom power warning is def not because of power draw. More likely to be since phantom power can do damage to your mic if it doesnt use it. Nice video for the rest tho!
Certainly. You'd want to pair it with a headphone amplifier to send the output mix to your participants, though. It wouldn't be a "mix minus" signal but would work well enough. You might want to check out what Zoom has to offer, though. They make some affordable options with podcasting in mind.
Hi, thanks for the video. I am new to this... I am using a condensor mic and lavaliers ... so the Tascam will record from the two sources on separate tracks?
We use a Ravpower 22000mAh Power Bank. I don't think our model is made any more but the current one (Model: RP-PB41) would fit the bill as well. You can find it on their site here: www.ravpower.com/products/rp-pb41-26800mah-power-bank
why would you want to set the name type as Date? each file will have a date attached so you're just doubling up on info - far better to use Word and name the project - that way you have the project name & date
Why they use black or white backgrounds to make their reviews? With black some things can't be appreciated if the light isn't good, with white black things tend to make the same because a lot of light, also is very aggressive because the light reflects to the eyes, when i watch videos from people like this i doubt about the knowledge of the the person who make videos, looks like everybody do that with out common sense, what a people, what a pitty...
Thank you so much. It took me a while figure out how to go back and forth with the day, month, time... it's the fast-forward and rewind buttons.
Great job. Clear and to the point.
Straight to the point, best tutorial on d70 Tascam.
🤔

I dont have a pan option in my basic menu. How can that be?
Hi I been wondering if you can use this Tascam for recording podcasts?

Yes it will
Im trying to do that as well but cant find the right setting to use it on. What setting do I put for each line to get that?
Thanks! But how to set the date I can not move the cursor from year. I can only adjust year not month and day
You need to use the fast-forward and rewind keys to navigate through month and day. This confused us at first as well.
@@WompHaus Thanks! But I still get noise sometimes. Which settings do you advise for best quality sound?
Is it possibile to use this to link Phantom microphone to PC?
What is the name of the external battery pack used? Can you drop a link?
