Hood Safety Latch - 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson

A malfunctioning hood safety latch that does not hold the hood closed can lead to serious damage if the hood pops open at highway speed including damage to the hood, the pillars, the windshield, the fenders, the roofline, and potentially a total loss on some vehicles. Replacing the hood safety latch is an easy repair that can be done with just a ratchet wrench and a 10mm socket.
