We had one week of sunshine in the netherlands and we call it summer, but was nice! Year already halfway done. Onwards to Chronicles volume 4, war within release and working on a persona special project. More revealed soon tm
if you love reading and you read the warcraft books than you forgot sometimes what the weather outside is. Live Aswell in the Netherlands and today it was twenty-two degrease and what did i the hole day gaming and watching some of you videos from your channel as always. :)
I really hate how they compressed Classic-Cataclysm into 3 years. I think the timeline should have just reflected the real time release of the expansions.
Blizzard overall had this issue of compressing what seems like a gigantic amount of events in a ridiculously short amount of time. The entirety of original Starcraft + BroodWar happened in 1.5 years, and all the action of Wings of Liberty + Heart of the Swarm was like 8 months
Literally just finished your video from four years ago about the story of warcraft. Started looking for an updated version that included what happened after BFA. Then you uploaded this! The timing was excellent.
Other than being the predecessors to the elves, trolls were not very competitive out there, yeah. Stuck to their guns and watched the elves shove themselves.
Love you brother, hope you enjoy that summer weather as well. Despite me not playing WoW for ages, I still come back to your channel whenever you release a video and I now associate your voice with WoW lore haha
Shadowlands literally has the most important plot points in the last 4 expansions and its crucial to tww storytelling. You not liking it doesnt mesn others should never hear of it.
15:05 I knew Grom was older than Thrall, but i never thought Garrosh was older as well. Grom was the older-brother figure to Thrall, and then Thrall was a older brother/uncle figure to Garrosh.
Your vids are fantastic! And I really enjoy your sarcasm and side comments. Are there any “normal” characters/farmers left on Azeroth after all the wars?
They've given glimpses. Like in shadowlands you do a quest that puts you into the perspective of just a humble guy in lakeshire when the scourge comes. They never do enough of it though. Only when it has to do with scourge for some reason. Cus there's quests like that in Northrend too.
Did I miss the portion of the global Troll Empire (Zul/Ama/etc.) or the Mogu rule of Pandora? Pretty sure that was around the same time as the Well/Sundering/WotA time.
Hard to imagine that if you kept your original characters from classic that he/she/it/they would be 42 years old. That makes for some good RP. Does it ever mention how old some of the primary races on WoW live? Because if your character is 20 years old when created, then they would be 62 now. It is fun to think about.
It’s crazy that the twisting nether transcends time but at the same time the legion has a timeline where they won the war of the acients with illidan joining the legion and then killing malfurion, so many questions now, like if the legion has won why did everything in legion happen???
Watching this and then seeing where MoP falls in and with Remix going on right now, just makes me like that expansion and my Pandaren Monk main even more. All the lore and culture and everything Pandaria offers is amazing, to me anyway and how some of its story ties into TWW with the titan facilities and such. I'm once again very invested into WoW.
Like I get the question of what farmers would think looking up and seeing a god humping the planet. But I feel like that leads to a much more massive question, how are there still any farmers left? With all the stuff that has attacked the world and the different prepatch events how would a regular farmer still exist.
I’m surprised that after everything that’s happened, the citizens of Azeroth haven’t largely thrown up their hands and said “oh, screw it. Just let this world end already.”
The gravity alone of another massive object next to the planet should probably shake the surface to pieces. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and eruptions. Almost like a second cataclysm....

I want to know where that animation with Kel'thuzad is from! (Thanks for this though, I've been trying to figure out what year TWW starts in, and though this doesn't cover THAT...at least this is a nice, up to date, quick reference for the timeline!)
Thanks for the short summary of all WC history. Will you upload War Within lore complete in a chronological order with only cinematics and in-game cutscenes?
I'm sure he will cover all new content as it comes out, as he has for years and years. If you're looking for something like "The War Within: The Movie" or whatever, this isn't the right channel though. Nobbel covers all the details.
@@mokarokas-1727 I used to follow Athelarious for that. But he started spamming same scenes in 10s of different videos and he messed up the chronological orders as well. Nobbels seemed more stable.

I don't play WOW anymore, not by choice, but of necessity. The addiction is too strong, but I really miss the lore and stories. I subscribed to Nobbel just so i can get refreshers and tidbits of stories I won't be able to experience anymore. Are there any other people i can follow that tell/re-enact the plots of the lore?
If I started to play WoW in Vanilla. How old would my character be? If my character at Level 1 starting out was 18 maybe, then that would make 17 years since Vanilla, so my character would be 35. What do you think?
