I was playing back during the WoW plague, and I basically just stuck to things like farming leather and herbs in the middle of nowhere on my toons and generally staying out of Org. So, social isolation was a thing back in the day, as well. We still got together for raids, but it isn't hard to cleanse a raid group if you need to.
I love this subtle lore storytelling turning into a dissing talk and warning for all. You're amazing as always Nobbel.

The infamous Hakkar, known for creating the plague that occurred back in 2004, I believe.

Most likely in late 2005. The game released in november 2004. Imagine the game being barely released, only for a blood plague to ruin it a month later x)

Btw so far as I know during the Gurubashi assault on Stormwind the Gurubashi didn't nearly overwhelm Medivh, more like the opposite. He went full Guardian on them and broke the Gurubashi that day almost on his own.
I like to think that Hakkar is the current form of Sethe (the primal god of Draenor) that after being killed by Anzu transformed within the Shadowlands after consuming souls (earning the title of Soulflayer).
But then that would be inconsistent with his origin as a Wild God, which are older than Sethe and the others. Otherwise I guess it could have worked, with the Emerald Dream and the Wild Gods apparently having a connection to the Ardenweald in Shadowlands.
@@RileyRivalle2 Hakkar isn't a wild god. He doesn't come from Azeroth. There would be no inconsistency. Hakkar was summoned from the shadowlands, and it's been stated multiple times that there are no records of him existing on Azeroth before being summoned.

Yes he is, and yes he does. He's been part of the typical loa the trolls worship for millennia, just like the rest. I guess they COULD give him a different origin, but for now there's nothing to suggest he would have one, so it's a no-brainer. But, again; I guess they could.
@@RileyRivalle2 You need to go and do your research. Hakkar was never on Azeroth until the Trolls first tried to summon him in Zandalar. They failed, and thousands of years later they tried again. There are even items that specifically state that Hakkar is no where in any titan records. He isn't from Azeroth.

There's nothing that says he was never on Azeroth, or in the Emerald Dream, or whatever, before either (I guess this is the part where I tell you "you need to go do your research" like an asshole?). That's not evidence, that's LACK of evidence. And Sethe was only 3000 years ago.

hakkar is obviously a child of the old gods, particularly from the remains of y'shaarj. this also includes gazrilla and naraxas, but the rest of y'shaarj was used to accidentally create Ghuun. i call them the twisted ones or the wicked gods

Idk what made him think the missing soul was related to Hakkar. It seemed obvious from the questline that it was Vol’jin’s soul was the one that was missing seeing as the questline was all about him.

i think its the arbiter, not the jailor. the jailor, or hakar, wouldnt make sense. its either the arbiter or the boss of the night fae place, since Bwonsamdis dungeon is supposed to be located there.

Bwon has made it clear he is about balance, and things that tip the balance too far aren't good. Hakkar explicitly wants to tip it too far, so there is no way it would make any sense for him to be Bwon's boss. I hope Bwon's boss is revealed to be a figure we've never heard anything about, and mostly I hope the same thing for the lore in Shadowlands. Just loads of new stuff, I'm fucking tired of Troll shit and Demons at this point.

I was just here to compare this guy's voice from how he was about tow years ago or so, and...fortunately, he has kind of improved his obnoxious R rolling when he speaks most of the time, which is great. I really wanted to see Hakaar in BfA... Was very disappointed where I heard of G'hunn, I mean he's alright and all but he's not a God like Hakaar
Playing with my orc in outland and i saw the naga there, they even have a full camp, Buildings and spike fence thingy. So my question is what the fuck is the naga doing in outland? What could they posibly want there of all the places!? I dont know if its Azshara or just the naga that have found something of value there and i just realized maby thats where they learned of the fel stuff sins they have bin trying out fel magic and theres even a fel male/female naga model that to my knowlage i havent seen in game ever as far as i know.
