And as a survivor myself, I noticed he NEVER apologized to Cassie. It was gross. I'm so proud of her, her strength and resilience during this is so inspiring to all survivors out here ❤
Because society will defend them even if the evidence against them is damning. We all saw that picture of Rihanna with bruises all over her face, but society at large wants us to get over it and stop trying to "ruin" Chris Brown's career.

He robbed Cassie of her career, peace & happiness for so long... much longer than they were together. I know the feeling. The disregard is so quick whether you speak up immediately or years later. Diddy has been spoken of in such an ill manner for so long... it's crazy what money & influence can brush under the rug. The black community is also too quick to say, "Oh y'all just trying to bring a black man down!" This is absolutely NOT that. There has been way too much talk for decades!

As somebody who was SA by two separate boyfriends and also experiencing physical abuse from a PARENT. I never once thought Cassie was lying and I implore everyone to stop the “how do you have daughters and do this..” mentality. A terrible man is a terrible man. They will set pieces in place to make a beautiful ensemble but at the core are simply terrible.

I will never forget that Diddy video where he’s with Usher and Kevin Hart and he starts saying how him and Usher used “wrestle over the Frosted Flakes” and Kevin Hart jokingly calls him out and then Diddy puts his arms around Kevin, only to realize they’re live on camera. That was very telling to me.

Cassie’s lawsuit was so detailed with so many stories, there was no way Diddy, his team, and his budget couldn’t of found NUMEROUS of cracks in her story if she was lying. But he instantly settled it…
The shocking thing is. A majority of us has experienced some form of sexual abuse in our lives. Yet I've noticed that too, the lack of compassion from people once these topics come up. It IS quite odd.

Watched my Dad whoop my mother’s ass for the whole first half of my life, clear up until I was 15, when I saw my mom lay that man on his back. He tried to laugh it off like he “let her win the fight”, but we all knew right then and there, times were changing. She was changing, and he knew the power dynamic wasn’t the same, she eventually left him FOR GOOD a few months after that. My father has apologized, disrespected, apologized, disrespected, and apologized time and time again. Men like him, Diddy, and more, are NEVER sorry. They’re just mad they got caught.

These types of situations shouldn’t be swept under the wrong and seen as “oh that’s common” - just bc it happens often doesn’t make it something we should just shrug to and move on. No we need to prevent these types of situations from happening. People just hear about abuse and harassment and power hungry .. and ppl just shrug and say “that’s life”; that’s not life baby…. I did read the lawsuit and couldn't finish it without crying. It's disgusting what this man did to this girl. It also makes me wonder who else this man tortured. Who else is in his circle of abuse. People of Power who have money feel like their invincible, untouchable and are above the law and the fact that he settled out of court so quickly speaks of his guilt. I really hope that the people he has traumatized over the years come forward. I hope that the people that were involved get theirs too. I feel for Cassie because old wounds are being reopened. I feel like the trauma that she tried so hard to bury is being resurfaced and she has to relive all of this. The apology was kinda something that he needed to do to soften the blow. His eyes showed no remorse. It's empty. I do believe there are more victims that suffered at the hands of this man. I do believe Diddy does have companions that are involved with his heinous acts. Luckily for her there was no social media in 2005 for her to talk crazy on like Careesha. I hope Careesha gets out of Diddy’s grasp too. No telling what she’s going through
It’s important to keep in mind he might not behave like that anymore. I think he (and other famous men) peeped how society is changing and you can’t get away with everything like before - that’s why he did all that “love” stuff trying to paint a new narrative. First of all Zach, much respect to you for still shining your light while living with the trauma of SA. I know how rough that is to deal with sometimes. It was always fuck Diddy for me. I was a young child during his reality show era, but I had an older sibling who enjoyed those shows so I'd seen bits and pieces of "Making the Band" and whatever the show was where he had people competing to be his assistant. The assistant show is what shaped my life-long disdain for Diddy lol. Even as a small child, the shit he had people doing for him just totally rubbed me the wrong way, I was like fuck this guy, it bothered me that my sister even watched that shit so faithfully. I hope he actually pays the consequences for what he's done.

This man is reading a script. You were a child and he was the adult, I was molested when I was younger. I told my Grandmother but she didn't believe me, I couldn't tell my mother because she just came home from the hospital after having surgery and I knew if I told my Mom, she would go ballistic. When she got better I told her everything and just like I thought my Mom tried to kill him my uncle and my grandmother had to stop her. Then she turned on my grandmother, it was awful cause I didn't think she would turn on her mother because I told her EVERYTHING. My Mom was my SHERO. This man needs to stop being a down low brother and admit that he's gay.
