I believe there’s another instance at the Royal Conservatory. There’s an abandoned card game inside a bar up in a second story building for low chaos. During high chaos, you’ll find all of the players dead.
9:15 That one really *landed* hard. Whole reason I'm looking into these. Playing first time, this interaction was like "Aww what a sweet moment", on my second high chaos playthrough tho "Aww what the fu-"
There are another one right in front of the black market shop. There are three howlers trying to ambush you by pretending to have a robbery going on, in high chaos they will start arguing for real and kill each other afterwards
In my case, that only happened after the harbor. I killed the guards surrounding the street where the Overseers (I did not kill the Overseers) were in order to send a message. I haven't been able to reduce my chaos level ever since. There was always an excuse to keep executing my enemies. There was also a civilian. It's ok though. It was a corrupt and sadistic noble according to the Heart.
Interesting. When I first played dishonoured 2 I went for good morality (But I am a clumsy player) and had high chaos for much of the game. I didnt realise this, I thought I had low chaos too! When I reached the thief couple, the guard and serf I was shocked by the murder and remembered it. This time I was actually low chaos, and the outcome of the couple was heart melting 😅
I know i'm pretty late but I just finished my high chaos playthrough and there is a special dialogue you missed in the Royal Conservatory mission. If you kill Breanna Ashworth in front of the delilah statue then Emily will start the conversation with something along the lines of "I'm going to kill everyone you care about"
Please make a part 3, or 4 if required. It's great, and I would not replay the game ( I'm doing Corvo stealth, no kills) just to see all the differences. Thanks.
Absolutely. But they probably couldn't come up with anything that would be really that frightening. Interesting enough, its just the story of the outsider that gets influenced here - the thing Jindosh did had already happened, and is not related to you (as it should be)
Are there some differences that are based on whether or not you killed the targets? For example if you killed Breanna but managed to keep chaos low, would the conversation with deliah be the same?
@BlankBlonk Interestingly, I think 'Megan's' lines about talking to Hypatia are a bit different if you spared her during an otherwise high chaos run, but I can't recall the exact differences now.
The Chaos system in Dishonored has always been ironic to me. The game punishes you based on how many people you kill, and a core theme is how your actions have consequences, something Daud observes in his monologue. However, when you use the Heart to listen to the secrets of the NPCs, a lot of them are downright evil people, meaning their death is not only justified, but lawful, earned, and something you are within your legal rights as the Empress to decide. So, for a game that is all about consequences, it's weird how you are punished for becoming the living embodiment of the consequences of these evil people.
Because even those that are cruel are merely upholding the order of the city - you are the judge, but being the executioner leads to overstepping. You're not going through the laws people have set in place when you murder without trial. Even Corvo had a trial, they didn't just execute him on the spot - they tortured and grilled him for months

Yeah this one hit me hard when I did my second play through

Also you can hear bunch of shouting in the background which i though was bizarre

That didn't happen to me at any point. Either I wasn't careful enough, or my chaos level wasn't really high, just medium.

I've noticed if you wait above and watch they don't try and kill each other , but they do argue amongst themselves in Low Chaos.
Obviously, some of these are influenced by one particular choice and not the chaos level, but good to keep them together.
You kill a couple of guards, and across the sea Melinda turns into a cold-blooded psychopath, pushing her childhood friend off the roof. 👏👏👏👏

I didn't kill Melinda though. I was afraid of the repercussions of her friend being so close to the crime scene.
Thanks for making a second part:)
I'm so thankful for them because you really put in work and they definitely deserve more attention^^

14:57 there are low and high chaos variants of this conversation. High chaos sparing Breanna has unique dialogue

4:48 I didn't know Emily was into tentacles.
I went Low Chaos in Dishonored 1 because of my morality, but only went low chaos in 2 because I HATE the sound of bloodflies.
There's also a few extra lines if you kill Breanna in front of statue
Sure, last time I put her on fire right in front of the statue during their chatting, high chaos runs are often hilarious 😂

I searched the whole internet for that toy but found nothing, not even a concept art .
I think it was a toy box that played a sickening tune, like the brown note or smth

Yeah
A couple of these aren't based on chaos but on who you did and didn't kill

Mmmmh, I prefer the high chaos Deliah statue conversation 😅
Never did like how certain games straight-up use the plot to punish the player for going in hard. Pacifism is over-rated.
