Crazy to think that android caught up and it can be even smoother than ios. All of these phones are doing amazing work. I feel like iphone no longer has the best camera/video in the business competition is tough.
Android is 100% smoother. iPhone just runs at 80Hz whenever it should be at 120Hz so you can get an extra 10 minutes of battery life, not to mention all the stutters. The stutters are largely from ProMotion not ramping up/down smoothly, or from the apps not loading content in time.
Iphone has always been smooth and floaty. I am proud of Samsung right now. Finally working on the things that's important to a person like me. I'm such a visual girl ❤

Xiomi had a advantage for starting a lot earlier than iphone. Then after 4 seconds, Iphone started too and it was blitzing through the apps with it's consistent animation, and even beating that android phone with large gap. But now, this IOS 18 in 13:14, they seems to downgrade their opening and closing animation in this video. It used to be a lot better than that 13:14. I just noticed that
Watching on my s23 ultra i think samsung animations are faster and smoother! I had an iPhone for like 5 days I don't like iphones it's so laggie and freezes to much for me so I went back to my s23 ultra!

Nick there is a another version of one ui 7 smoother then this in terms of animation its called xzkn .. they are planing to added it to the next beta .. ice universe the leakester test both versions and it was way smoother then this one. Wait for the other beta and ull see the difference
When both ui come close to similar appearance whats gonna top this off is the ecosystem for example auto fill is better on iOS and obvious with other apple devices samsung is amazing but is in the process of letting go of its native messaging my opinion i thought samsung messages was great for business and google messages is ok
Transparent navigation and status bar are nowhere to be seen on Samsung and it was a feature introduced with android 15. Also you can clearly see with the heavy apps that when you press really fast it still takes a second to think meanwhile on the iPhone is very responsive
I’m planning to switch Galaxy but I will miss some iOS features like directly send multiple photos from safari or google to any messaging app without downloading them, and move multiple app at once, select multiple photos from photo app and move to anywhere, pinch photo and paste to everywhere etc.. Cause that modern features couldn’t available on any android
You can copy any images in web browsers and clip them into your clipboard, then paste them into any messaging app. You can move large amounts of photos from the gallery and move them, copy them, share them, compress, put it in a folder, delete them, etc. I'm not sure about the pinching thing you are talking about, but Android has tons of features, the reason people like Androids.
I will pick android anytime even without the one ui 7 or smooth animation. Animation make phone slow. Ios look smooth because they lock the speed animation and fps but with android we can go as fast as we want or slow as we want.. so basically i get what i want on android whereas not with ios
Your wallpaper choice on the samsung is very bad. It makes it hard to see the new app icons and overall an eyesore. I wished that you would've changed it, but you're rocking it all over your one ui 7 videos.
1UI7 is far better than iOS 18 as It has now bar on lock screen which can be used to stack multiple live activities, split notification panel, ios still doesn’t offer split screen. End of the debate
All this apart, that display on s24 looks like cheap LCD panel. This is so ridiculous the brand who provides OLED panels to other brands have much better amoled panels than the manufacturer itself. WoW well done samsung. i-phone display looks much better than your LCD panel.
2025 is gonna be a big year for Apple and Samsung. Apple has a lot next year and I hope it’s the year they finally get rid of the iPhone 11 Pro design for a new design

I'm excited to get my 16 pro on Monday. I used android for 3 months and just after 2 months I had enough. Will never go back to android again. Definitely not for me.

I would argue that iPhone still has the best video but in terms of camera, a lot has caught up and got even better, like the Vivo x200 Pro.

As a Samsung user, iOS 18.2 is smoother. One UI 7 feel faster and scrolling is much better on Android.
