They asked us to go but for me days are so short I don’t think it’s worth it. But we will see our other son and g family who live nearby , I do not like Xmas really I lost both my parents at Xmas and they both loved it and made so much of it, it doesn’t seen right still them not being there, johns mum and dad are no with us either. So it’s not really the same but we have to keep things going for our family. We are the oldies these days hehe. I hope you enjoy your time off with the family and a nice break for you as well. @@johnrlhunter We were in Scotland a few times in the 90s, we drove this route too, for a few years we always stayed in Drumandrochit on Lochnesse and drove everything from there !
Hi John, I'm new on your channel. I enjoyed your video, and I will share it with my family. We were driving in the area of Applecross 2017, we had a really good time in your beautiful country. Hello from Switzerland!!
@@johnrlhunter how beautiful. My hubby wants to go again to Scotland.but my experiences in Scotland have always been wet. So I think I may need to re consider my thoughts,re watching your trips it all looks so peaceful and beautiful. I love Devon that’s has always been my first choice when we talk about holidays. We have one of our sons who has a property there as well,so nice if they are there as we can have a nice time together we stay in a hotel as his two sons both men themselves go often as well. Our other son and his family love Devon as well. So I guess it’s a bit of a formality for us all really . We have gone there every year at some time in between foreign holidays for past 50 years. Maybe we need to spread our wings . Hehe . Thanks again for sharing.
John, do you have any cd’s of your music available rather than just singles? I’d like to have them in the car when I trundle back north with my kayak, this new year.
I have a lot of songs not yet released, but I am not sure what should be on a CD as an album. I never listen to CDs anymore, I just create playlists and sync my phone and play them in the car. Even the songs that I am working on, I drop them into Dropbox so that I can review in my car. If you want a specific playlist of songs I could put one together for you but there’s still a couple of songs that I would like to release before releasing a collection of songs for a CD release. Many thanks, John
@@johnrlhunter Thank you. I’m of an age where, even if I could, don’t want start messing with searching, finding, downloading playlists, dropping boxes, syncing. Buy a ready to go, tangible CD, receive it, slot in it the slot, and we have music! Simple. Here’s hoping to hear about any cd you release.
Wish we had a bit of those lovely weather at the moment and daylightx
Indeed, already looking forward to the end of the dark nights and mornings :)
