thanks for the video! I popped my hood on my 2006 GLI to clean the engine and see if the part on your video matched my car, which it does. In my case I only unhooked the hoses connected to the PCV valve to satiate my sheer curiosity on how hard or easy it may be to replace when the part arrives to replace... but surprisingly, when I plugged them back in, the errors p2187 and p2181 were cleared. After a test drive, the errors didn't come back on anymore. My guess is that it wasn't properly secured (just like my break fluid cap was mysteriously wide open) by the previous mechanic (potentially trying to force errors to upsell me their "recommended" service) after the state inspection. now, for p2181 I think it was related when I opened and closed the coolant cap. it was a little too tight at first, so not sure if that is related. Like over pressurized or something... Regardless, I will need to add a bit more coolant. It is about half empty but not quite near minimum yet. now I just need to double check p0441 which hopefully is either my gas cap's seal or the n80 purge valve. for anything else I will bring it in to a trustworthy mechanic. I'll get it all taken care of as soon as all parts arrive.
A neighbor has a 2014 passat and when he takes his oil cap off the engine rev's up and a lot of vacuum at oil filler hole, we can't figure it out, changed the PCV already. Thanks for your time
Hi my 2007 Volkswagen EOS 2.0T I GOT A PO506 CAN U PLEASE TELME THE NAME OF THE OTHER VALVE I GOT THE PCV VALVE I NEED THE OTHER ONE THK U SO I CAN REPLACET
The part that you blow through to test how do you get it off if it has a plastic hose melted to the end from factory it's on an Audi Q3 2018 with the 2.0 turbo?
2013 volkswagen passat. Changed both valve cover gasket and the valve cover because had leak around the gasket but no rough idle or codes. But now I have a P0507 a p2189 and p2187 code now. Any ideas?
I have the exact Error Code 08583, but my vehicle is 2011 Volkswagen Passat 118TSI 7 Spd DSG Sedan.... Would I need to replace the crankcase ventilation value also?? Would it be the same issue. Thank you in advance

It is possible that you would need one for that model as well.
Seatbelt tensioner?
Would this be the same part for a 09' vw jetta?
I am unsure, but they would work about the same.
