Recently realized how much a weight relieved Les Paul is much more enjoyable to play than the heavy ones, and yes, once you play the lighter guitars its a noticeable difference🏋🏽♀🎸
I’m glad you are enjoying playing a strat! I’ve always been a strat guy but I use a telecaster and a Les Paul. But my fender Strats has always been home base for me. The feel, the clarity can be sweet. The feeling of a lighter guitar can make a difference in your playing it as well. So I understand the switch from Les Pauls’. Like you I play my electric guitars acoustically/unplugged. The partcaster looks good Mike!
@@USTTRM true it is a great cure to GAS! I had built a partcaster telecaster and she was amazing. A guy beg me to buy it off of me for more than it cost me to build. I keep a lot of spare parts lying around so I have to repair my own gear on the go.
I agree with you on having a guitar and amp you bond with before moving on to or adding another. However, consider getting a 335-shaped guitar into your life. They do almost everything (that isn't a Strat) and are still less weighty than a Paul.
Mike, I can relate because I got bitten by the Strat bug a few years ago. Strats are so versatile and I love their sound. Have a great weekend!
You have a good one too!
Hey thanks for the gift! I really appreciate your support of this channel.
I have a Indo squier strat standard that has become my number one go too.
Yeah I’m a Squier head it seems! Thanks for watching!
If Clapton switched, must be something to it.
Ha! Well again, I can say we are in good company! Thanks for watching!
Great stuff Mike. I’m definitely more of a strat man myself. All the others are nice to pickup once in a while but the Stratocaster feels like home.
It’s a nice change of pace from the usual to be sure! Thanks for watching as always!

It’s nothing that I really minded until recently. It really is a pleasure!
@@USTTRM I’m 58 yrs old and it never bothered me before😁😆

I’m late to the concept but parts caters can be an excellent cure for GAS!
