I was wondering if you were gonna upload a video about this! Hidan is one of my favorite characters because of the mystery behind his religion. Gotta watch this.
When it comes to why Hidan is the only follower of this religion, my personal theory is that they were a small secretive cult that Hidan joined after the Hidden Steam Village stopped investing in shinobi. Through their experiments he achieved his immortality, he was probably chosen to undergo this experiments because he was the most fanatical follower and the one who had killed the most. After becoming immortal he slaughtered the rest of the cult as a twisted sacrifice to Jashin. I also like to think that his fanaticism grew so much that he even started to hear Jashin as a voice in his head.
What if Hidan IS Lord Jashin? We don’t know of any followers before him, if I’m not mistaken. And only the Boruto one came after. He made the religion to cope with his power that separated him from every other person he’d ever come into contact with. The ritual, the blood signs, the worship… it was all made up in his head to justify his existence.
idk I never agreed with the theory that Hidan just had immortality & made up the entire religion to justify it. Plus his dialogue in Akatsuki Hiden makes it sound like he didnt ave immortality all the time
"Tho you shall kill your neighbor" sounds like if we live in an alternative timeline of Moses being worst than the egyptians who causes slavery on the jewish people.
Finally someone talking about this, thanks bro :D My theory is that Hidan is a devout follower of Jashin-chan from the anime/manga Jashin-chan Dropkick. Prove me wrong.
@@JuubiTaz I don't think his ritual counts as ninjutsu, there are no hand signs involved, even the symbol he draws on the ground is unlike the writing we see on ninja scrolls. He's more of a voodoo priest than a ninja.

Favorite character - haku KIMMORO..zabuza,neji,
It’s crazy that Orochimaru did all that crazy shit for a new body, while HIDAN *THE IMMORTAL* is literally right there lol
I think Orochimaru would've been turned off from the religious aspect of it
Or the fact Hidan is an adult lol
I've thought about this before, I think Oro wanted the sharingan more than immortality.
So was edo tensei
Thank you , the only TH-camr that actually does what the fans wanna see
Great video !!
Glad you enjoyed it

yes I too believe that Aidan probably martyred the rest of the followers as a sacrifice for Jashin
super interesting video, i enjoyed it
This is a good vid 👍 👍 👍
Ngl, I think Hidan and Kakazu have a similar dynamic to Deadpool and Wolverine
Ive always seen their dynamic similar to when Mike had to babysit Jesse at first, but Hidan is too similar to Deadpool so I see the comparison
@JuubiTaz. Bro please could you make vids about all the other 4 great hidden villages and the lesser ones like the grass, waterfall etc.
bro that's literally the next video I'm working on
@@JuubiTaz ok, that's cool. Thanks 🤙

Jashin was the second to Shibai
Proof

The way of Jashin is MASS DESTRUCTION

lol, I didn't even know about the anime 'Jashin-chan', kinda sounds like Jackie Chan
@@JuubiTaz Check it out, you gonna love it
The Way of Jashin is the way of the Devil 👿😈
Comment for the algo.
Was Hidan even a ninja though? Seems like he is the only non shinobi fighter we see.
why, cuz he doesn't use a lot of ninjutsu?

@@nihlus9589 he's kind of a one trick pony, its sad cuz Kishi was gonna give him more abilities but like I said, pacing constraints
@@JuubiTazI think it's stated that Hidan can't use ninjutsu.
He just a weak steam ninja
