I have the bog-standard green-white version of that fern (aka "silver ribbon fern") and it's totally unfussy. Thirsty, yes, but no extra humidity required. I've had it in various locations around the house, and absolutely ZERO issues with browning or crisping leaves. The bigger it gets, the more stunning it looks. Shame we can't share pics in the comments...

Do you have a DIY pon mix that you make? If so can you share what you use?

I haven't made my own yet, I either use Lechuza Pon or Soil Ninja 👍

How did you cut the monsteria, at what point on the stems? I have one that I cut because it got too crowded but it doesn't seem to be growing much.

You need to make sure you have a stem cutting with a node, not just a stem and leaf. If you check out my video where I chop up my Monstera Albo, you can see what the cuttings I took look like. Hope that helps! 💚
