I think the real potential is in wipe heavy units that potentiate in a five stack. Think yanyedao cav, hussars, men at arms. That could actually be viable in a coordinated push

i just revisited this game today (i didnt play for at least a year) and its still horrible. I dont want to be unfair, but i never seen a game with this much CC, annoying abilities and frustration potential. it is so fucked up to know that if you play against a poleaxe and make 1 mistake, you get immediately punished by a 5 second lasting stun combo. No wonder nobody plays this game anymore

that doesn't change the fact that this game is unbalanced as hell.

still very playable game, move with your team, don't move alone and blame poleaxe skills, its team vs team, not 1v1
its not a good argument for a game to just be "playable". obviously if you stay with your team you dont die as often, but that doesnt mean the 5 sec lasting stun of the poleaxe or the ability to pick up and carry other players into your troups are in anyway balanced
