The bike looks really good! I'm glad that you choosed this stem/bar combo. The only thing is strange for me is that you put the brake lever inside and the shift lever outside. But as i said this is a really nice build! 👌
Cheers dude! Next project is a 2003 Rockhopper coming fast behind this one as it’s already finished and with it’s new owner (my niece). Hopefully get some shorts out this week and get to editing over the weekend.
Cheers dude! Glad you enjoyed it! Oh no way, that’s mad to find out Marin are hard to find in Argentina. I’ve been on the hunt for USA made Cannondales, Specialized and Treks over here but 2 more Marins have come up in my area in the last week that I could say no to. Out of curiosity, what retro bikes are popular over in Argentina?
Why did you need to use the spacers to make it 73? Is it because the crankset you chose to use calls for a 73 bb? I’m doing a similar build and planning to use a BBR60, which is for a 68 bb
Awesome rebuild 👍😊
I have a Marin that needs resto this is my inspo

Looks really nice. I love the adventX microShift stuff - have it on 3 of my bikes!
I got it for such a good deal I couldn’t leave it on at Wiggle. Only regret is not buying a second groupset whilst there was a deal on!
Great vid buddy was looking foward to that one after following the series 👍 looking forward to the next project buddy 👍🚴🚴

Looks great 👍 What are the tyres?

What kind of rust remover did you use?? Looks paint safe!!
Hammerite Rust Remover Gel.
@@MozOnBikes thanks!
Maravilha!
What's the tire diameter?
Great looking bike, but that's a ridiculously low gear ratio. Why? So stupid. Maybe you cycle very slowly or on a 30% incline. 😂
36x48 isn’t particularly low these days even on a 26in wheel. Maybe catch up with the latest mountain bike tech.
