Thanks so much for the video! I wanted to quickly share that using a glass nail file not only cuts down on the time to shape nails but leaves a smoother finish, is completely hygienic as it cannot harbor bacteria like Emory boards, and never wears down! Also, filing in a single direction vs a back-and-forth saw-like motion reduces the friction on nails so they’re less prone to break. Lastly, buffing the tops of nails reduces the strength of the nail so should be avoided unless absolutely necessary, such as removing surface-layer stains. Keep up the great work! Love to see quality content from this fine group of men.
Absolutely outstanding video, Kyle! I loved the cut-away scenes, and your clear explanations on how to properly buff nails and how to effectively scrub while bathing. I think the Handkerchief deserves a video all its own! Sometimes I'll carry two handkerchiefs; one for myself, and one to give to anybody in distress (regardless of gender😉). I loved the vocal cameo from Preston, too!! Fantastic video 😊
I have both those brushes in my tack trunk in the barn, for the personal hygiene of my 4-legged buddies. It never occurred to me to use some for myself. I usually just scrub by hand, or with exfoliating soap. The brushes are a great idea though, and I can attest, from using them on others, that they work wonders for circulation and healthy skin and hair. 😄
Do you have any recommendations for clothing for young teens? Being a young teen myself, it’s hard for me to find nice, good quality clothes in the styles I want. For me, I like the way young boys dressed in the 50s, and 60s, specifically just teenage boys. The only problem with that is they don’t really make those kind of clothes anymore considering what most teens wear now. I would wear what you guys at the Gentleman’s gazette teach and talk about, but it’s just impractical at my age. And one thing is I want to dress my age. If anybody has some websites or anything that may help me find that sort of things, I would be most grateful.
As opposed to buying blue-light glasses, you can always go into the settings of your phone, PC, or other device to turn on its blue light filter. Almost always, there are options for it to automatically turn on at any time, such as at night and then automatically turn off, such as in the daytime. I've been using it for years on my Samsung Galaxy Core which is a 6-year old phone, my S7, and my Dell Inspirion 15. Just thought I'd share since not enough people know about this.

At least 3 days a week I brush my skin, everywhere but my chest because my mom said it's not good to do it near your heart, yet I do enjoy the feeling of a horsehair brush cleaning away the skin cells from my arms legs and scalp

FYI if you want an antibacterial mouthwash use Listerine, the one in the video is NOT antibacterial, the "active ingredient" is sodium fluoride which is anti-cavity, NOT antibacterial. All the other ingredients are flavorings etc and are listed under "inactive ingredients". You really didn't do your homework on this one.
When mentioning the antibacterial properties of mouthwash, we were speaking more about quality mouthwashes in general--but as we also mentioned, TheraBreath's line features a range of products with different primary goals. Thanks for prompting this clarification! - Preston
One thing I can recommend is to clean your tonsils. Even if you brush, floss, rinse, and clean your tongue, your breath may still smell because of tonsils.
Devices DO NOT DAMAGE OUR EYES WITH BLUE LIGHT, these produce so little that it's needed to take measure in an dark room to check the very small quantities they emit.
And of course gentlemen only shower for a maximum of 3 minutes to save the environment... the less time you spend in the shower, the less water and heating you use... Gentlemen take this into account!
