- In this video, I review the SONY ZV-1's Product Showcase Mode feature. I discuss the benefits of the SONY ZV-1 having Product Showcase Mode and directly compare it to the SONY A6600. The SONY VZ-1 setting is a great addition to SONY autofocus offerings.

That was excellent! Really gave me a sense of each camera. I also wanted to see how the noise/look would compare between them which your video does perfectly. The ZV-1 is noticeably noisier - what ISO setting did you have the camera on? I've heard that the ZV-1 struggles after 800 ISO.
Do you think this mode will come to the A6600 any time soon? Or will it only be on the zv line?

I can't get this feature to work. It says not available in Night mode and I cant seem to find where to turn night mode off :) GREAT video. You are damn good.
hmm maybe my camera is buggy but turning on product showcase and it just stays focused on me and no matter what i put in the foreground it does not focus to it

Product showcase used to work, now despite having it switched, it doesn't work

Have you done any product showcase styles videos with the ZV-1 while standing behind a table? I'm trying to use the same camera but haven't figured out how to get the same Vlog effect at a distance as when I'm up close.
Not yet! but if you’re having issues focusing with product showcase mode from a distance.. i'd try experimenting with the different focus modes.. ie ZONE, WIDE etc.. the other thing to remember is the farther away an object is from the lens on the ZV-1 (because of its 1" sensor), the less the object or subject isolation will be. This was the best breakdown of this mode. Now I wonder if it will work if your original focus was NOT on a persons face or eyes. Let's say focusing on a bridge then you place an object in front will it switch focus.
