Nice assortment of firearms. I’m pretty fond of both the long guns.

Great firearm channel. The experience of these guys is off the chart. Have read so many of Brian's articles and enjoy his interaction with the boys.

Glad Ruger decided on a proper twist rate of 1and 20inch . Marlin seemed to want to continue with the 1and 38inch. At least the upper management did.

I’ve only put 300 rounds through my new Beretta 92, it’s my first automatic with the double action trigger and boy oh boy is that going to take some getting used to. I even flinch dry firing it. I can’t believe how long the double action trigger pull is. The last gun I fired double action was my Smith and Wesson model 686. Very different feel.

It's definitely weird having an auto loader with a double action pull for that first round. It take some practice to get it down for sure!

I have been waiting for the better twist rate in the 44 marlin so glad that they listened. I remember that ruger did that in their 44/77 bolt action but made the magazine too short for the longer bullets. I love the model 12 it's so smooth that you can cycle it one handed I still have one of my great grandfather's. The older guns were more focused on more meat and potatoes field use and tactical second so you had design quirks to work around and never thought about it. My 870 is an early one and while nowhere as smooth as the model 12 it doesn't have any quirks to work around. Cool thing about the sigs is the ability to change the frames several aftermarket parts available.

Brian do you know if they have any plans for the 1894 in the 45 Colt? I need one desperately! Kind of. Keep up the great work 👍

$1239 MSRP? Woof! I guess Ruger has given up on the working man market with their lever guns.

Those days are gone. High material and energy cost prohibit them in the price range, not to mention engineers and factory set up.

      I disagree with you totally.
Where else can a working Man get such a fine firearm that will last for generations for so little money?
Ruger has done themselves Proud in my opinion.
      Best Wishes from Montana!

Great video, gentlemen! Quick question for Brian: did you have to change the front sight on your 1894, and if so, what sight height did you use? Appreciate it.

Here in canada we are still under the handgun freeze ,no buy ,no sell , no transfer; you can still own what you already have. Sure like that marlin!

The gun laws in Canada are very unfortunate. And yes that Marlin is a nice rifle

Its good you guys have honest opinions about each other’s guns. I like the disclaimer, stole it from my wife, lol Glock makes good guns, they’re just not for me, had 2 couldn’t get comfortable with them. I have a nice wish list for Santa again, lol, Marlins at the top, lol great video guys

Thanks for watching! And yes glock does make a great gun...I personally don't own one either... that's why I "borrowed" it from my wife for the video lol

If you really love your wife, you should buy her something nicer than a Glock!😂
I bought Beckie a pristine Model 28 Highway Patrolman her last Bday.

That sounds really good.....but I'm not buying it. A pristine model 28 sounds like it was really for you! Lol. Thanks for watching.
