    Your 'pool' analogy makes perfect sense. Having played pool most of my life, I have noticed that often my best games have been those in which I enticed/forced my opponent into losing, rather than directly winning.

      The pool analogy is one I thought of before I started Karate, at 12 years old I did have some good ideas now and then 😅

    Can we do "Kumite" in the streets with it's rules ?

      No, you can’t. Kumite (tournament style) was never meant for combat or selfdefense
