Nice walkthrough! Two other things that are useful in the game are freezing progress and selling cameras. The level 1 cameras can be bought for 50 reputation and sold for $150 and you can ignore the "report the task to the ministry" quest as long as you want. There are also some quests from tenants that you can postpone by not asking them about what they need.
Mentioned in your Martha vid, but will emphasize here: When you report a tenant, their belongings will be stacked by the doorway where you can sell them to Nathan (top hat salesman) or keep them for future requests and duties if needed, such as poisons, items requested from other tenants or illegal items to scam from your tenants.
A thing I found is if your in someone's apartment and they are heading to there door if you click on them to talk they will wait for you to get to them so you will just stroll out there apartment and you won't get caught
Just been on your other thread about this too...think you're missing a trick by not doing the fish deal. Do the fish deal with the trader and get ripped off. Tell Jones who is upset you didn't give him his cut...wants a way to "Make it up" (that's the mission name) Jones has a BOAT. Klaus wants to leave the country. The tickets for the cruise are for your son Patrick. There's more to do in the middle making this route a real masterpiece of timing (including saving Martha and your bottomless pit of a wife Anna; $500 for groceries? Seriously Anna, say after me ..."I'm going to LIDL"...) Another great and perfectly put together guide though.
I'm the master of the blackmailing and reporting in this game. I still have the book that when the game first came out, I take note who I blackmailed and with what item. Just like you said, snitches get riches
Thanks so much for the tips. Very helpful. I just got this game and got super mad at the bosun because after trying to work things out, he turned into a a-hole who won’t talk to me…leaving me to frame him and have him arrested. Not the outcome I wanted.
I've only been playing a little but the first mission "spy on Jacob" is hard because I haven't seen him! The entire 48 hours I have to gather information he doesn't show once 😣
Controller players can't select an area then send the character there. I have seen this with This War of Mine as well. I think Fallout Shelter is also that way.
Wassup people! I've started a Beholder series to get back into the swing of things. Give it a look-see if you'd like :) th-cam.com/video/0sxpWc-7kSw/w-d-xo.html
The mom and the daugther died. I got a call later on that some one will check the apartman if it hase much illegal stuff. They say i succes and i can go to work . in that moment a film comes that the war is over and my character is done with his life bur i a rich and i cant continue the game. Is it because my woman and daugther died ? If yes this is bullshit my daughter died at the beginning of the game. The wife died not less after that. I could play over around 350 in game time after my wife died. And the gam does not tell me because 2 members died you cant continue the game after a certain point of the game ?
I hope that you remember….. what is this entire game scripted or are there random elements to it? Are you always going to get the same tenants doing the same things and having the same alibis?

I really enjoyed this video. Please keep up the good work!
This game is more fun to play after looking up tutorials than trying to figure it out myself.

I see Jones waxing pistol.I see it but it wont let me take the information.
I think the same thing happened to me. It doesn't seem to be something you can report but maybe I'm wrong
It will become illegal later (like a lot of other things, you are not allowed to do anything in that world)

Have you ever managed to keep your whole family alive in this game?
how i can save ana ?
I haven't checked myself yet but I'll see if I can figure it out. I guess saving money would be a part of that as well
by not letting your kids die. cause I think she only kills herself bc the children died
