I wish I could see you live once a week
love walking
I love running
I love listening to Spiritualized
On drugs
There i said it
I have been getting stoned
Every day
Again
Cycles
But they are truly blissful
For a while
Currently it has been wonderful
Pleasurable & inspiring
But the magic comes to an end
When you don’t have any money
To continue
Or it starts to be about just not being sick.
“Thinking I AM, but failing to be” love you j. thank you for making this beautiful music.
Every time SPZ comes out with a new LP, I go in with hesitation. After all, most song writers will eventually run out of songs. Every time I've been proven wrong.
Same here, but then I realize that J is literally incapable of writing anything bad
Best song in the album.
agree.. this one got me hooked, ill repeat it for 2 weeks, till i see them in june..
🎶Life is scaring the life outta me 🎶
I took a extra ticket in 2019 to see a band that I was promised to love. Went in cold and every song was new. J Spaceman changed my musical life! Much love to all involved in Spiritualized!
Everything this band does is pure gold. Stay with me @Spiritualized
Love spiritualized!
Love new album!
Love the live version... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do one for “Best Thing You Never Had”! I remember than one from the old yours when it was called “D Song”. Sounded like CAN meets JJ Cale with a touch of acid house.... The studio version is great but there’s something so glorious about the live version...Motorik and groovy like an electronic track... And I LOVE the slide guitar take on the riff. So great!
I think it's Jason's 'On The Beach' this album... wonderful.
Hope so. That would mean his career high, Tonight's The Night, is up next! (In about another 10 years)
Apologies. I was under the impression this was his first album in 10 years. To my horror, I see an album called "And Nothing Hurt" came out in 2018. It completely passed me by. How the hell did THAT happen?!!
@@timbarlow9387 ha - it happens man.. it happens:)
Cosmic°•○● Jason Spaceman & the Spiritualized universe changed my world when I caught them live in a park in Preston in the mid 90s. Much respect & thank you!!
I "studied" in Preston from 91-95, saw them at the Uni but don't remember them in a park. Was it a Heineken Festival in Avenham Park? Saw Oasis there just before they broke. They were crap!
@@adambrewer8218 Yep, Heineken festival - Avenham Park. Spiritualized one year, The Verve (back when they were still making interesting music another year) and as for Oasis...think you said it all there, man! Totally agree. Might still have the flyers somewhere in storage though...
I'm coming home again, with this Song with this music. On the rails of my suburbia past.
This is like walking back home from Garstedt to Friedrichsgarbe in the 1970/1980ties on the rails of the ANB when it didn't work anymore, because too late in the night, and you had "Another Green World" of B.ENO on your Walkman, while walking on these railroads in the midst of of green fields.
♥️♥️♥️
Love this!!
I was lucky enough to see the Albert Hall gig back in '97, and at the London Astoria earlier that year...
Will these live versions see an official release? They need to be! Amazing
You guys need to pop by NZ
Soul Good. Hard Beauty. A fan💌
I remember seeing Spacemen 3 in 1988 supporting Psychic TV at The Astoria, London. I was only aware of "Walking with Jesus", which I really liked. "Sound of confusion" was purchased that week! I loved that sound.. Very much a V. U vibe going on!
I loved the fact that Jason was on stage, sitting on a settee! That's chilled! ❤️
@@nomailtoday525 Who knows? It's a good call, maybe! 🤔👍🏻
Excited to see you in the September portion of the US tour!
saw the show last night, amazing.

Why is youtube playing an ad in the middle of the song???
Disgraceful behaviour. I remembered the product specifically so I won’t ever buy it
Cool! Would love one of Let it Bleed!

I've been a fan since lazer guided melodies, and am going to the Roundhouse on 10th May. But compared to some of the highlights on that album, as well as pure phase and lagwafis, this is really dour and boring. Sixth form / Coldplay level lyrics about 'home', no true dynamic shifts in ten minutes, a bassline that feels plodding. JP talked in an interview about editing upwards with the material he has, and this is an example of making a song out of a single idea. He's phoning it in here.
The mainline song however, with it's leaps and shifts, would be worthy of this type of live treatment.
