Could you please measure the resistance of both resistors it includes? Can not get it from any factory delivering to my country (. So can make it myself easily then. They say the required values are 1M Om and 300 Om. But I am not sure if it just to replace the o2 sensor to trick the ecu or it will change AFR at the bottom as well. Thanks
Put mine on today and pulled the O2 sensor out and plugged the hole. It does seem to help with snatchy feel at low speed. Tried to change the fuel screen, but can’t get to it on 2019 SMCR because the air box blocks access. I don’t want to remove air box because I hear it’s a bear to get it back on sometimes . So, I guess a dealer will have to do it .
Not an good idea to disconnect O2 Sensor, buy a fuel dongle that's have 2 connector so the 02 sensor works all the time much better and no fault codes etc!
Hi. Are you still using the bike with the fuel dongle? Could you please measure the resistance of both resistors it includes? Can not get it from any factory delivering to my country (. You should notice the slow speed control is better but the evo map which goes directly onto the ECU has some other tricks too like removing the restrictions in the lower gears. for the price its worth a try!
@@Ignacio_vidal I think the evo map does disable the sas but the bike is limited in second and third (so I believe) so would make it more responsive too. Just gotta find someone who can either load the map on for you (dealers used to be able to but I think they stopped doing it) or have it custom mapped (not power commander) by someone but not many can do it.
@@Twedymoto Okay, thank you very much for answering. I'm going to try to put the dongle fuel and cancel the sas, since they say it's harmful to the engine. If it improves in bass because it's the only thing missing for my taste
can you just plug the hole in the header the cut the line on the O2 sensor and join them and solder or cap them and hide it etc. Whats the plus actually doing when you remove the sensor.
The o2 dongle is fooling the ecu so that it thinks the sensor is still there and sending different values, or something along those lines. if you have a 2021 model, you need a different dongle.
Just got my 2019 701 the other day! LOVE IT!!!! haha This is the channel I need right now thank you!!!👊
Fancy seeing my boyfriend here!

Thanks for the vid, Just did this to my 690 by far the best value for money mod I have ever done. Highly recommend it to anyone with a 690/701

You'll love it mate, it's addictive haha. And thanks for watching! :)

Literally was looking for one of these just ordered thanks for the video 👍
No problem, glad it's helped. 👍
Well you finally did it, you made me ditch the MT, how could you!
It was subliminal messages dude. The mind control is strong 😂. Nice one though!!

Done this mod myself recently. Can definitely feel the difference in the bottom end, much less snatchy

@@Daniel2077 Is that like the booster plug?
They've released a Euro5 version now :)
Video was a great help, thank you very much.
Where did you get the Tekmo header from?
I got it from their website. There are a few local stockists depending on where you live 👍
Just ordered one, thanks man! 😁
No worries dude.

If you have the evo map for akrapovic in a husqvarna 701 2018 and put the fuel dongle, you will notice improvements?

hello i just got the 2020 svartpilen 701. Does this work on the svartpilen?
It should do yeah. I'd maybe have a little Google just to make sure though 👍
Do you have a link for that air filter
I got it on amazon I think mate, its a k&n ru1750 👍
is this a solution to the Euro 5 models (ktm 690 smc r / enduro r)?
I'm not sure to be honest. I haven;t seen anything saying otherwise on the new KTM and Husky models although I haven't been looking.

@@Twedymoto nope the plug is just 2 pins looped so the ECU uses the mapped values not narrowband
@@blooperbooper Is there some key resistance wiring? or is literally just a loop? With the right connector couldnt you just DIY this?
The plug is just 2 resistors, 27k ohm I think but could be wrong. The correct figures are somewhere in the massive 701 thread on advrider. 👍

Do i need any setting/tuning in ecu system or just plug out the 02 sensor and change with disable nut?
what's the benefit of removing the cable instead of just plugging in the dongle and leaving the cable in?
No benefits really, just saves removing the sensor if you can't be bothered! Haha

You can save 3 ounces on weight which will more than likely increase your top speed by approximately 7 MPH.
