Here in Africa we are desperately wanting BRICS to accelerate its program to expand membership and to make finance for the New Development Bank a reality so that we no longer have to borrow USD from IMF and World Bank which is both controlled by the US and use their position to sanction a number of African countries including Zimbabwe, Eritrea, Mali, Chad, CAR, Niger, Burkina Faso etc. We are sick and tired of Neocolonialism and we can only end it by freeing ourselves from Western institutions such as IMF and World Bank.

A single currency is extremely difficult because some countries manage their economies much better than others creating imbalances which create friction.

My issue with digital currency is the privacy of how one spends their money,where,what and why. The central bank regulations, restrictions and monitoring is ridiculous and doesn't allow free access of one's money, account and how they use it. It's still draconian as well as how much one should spend is ridiculous.

I'm from Serbia and even though every Balkan country is in the EU or wants to become part of the EU I would love for Serbia to become part of BRICS. I understand that BRICS can't go from 5 countries to 55 in just a year or two and that all BRICS countries are big and with huge population while Serbia is small and only 7mil people but we have position in the centre of Balkans and all countries around us are in NATO so we could be like BRICS island in NATO & EU ocean if nothing else just to piss them off. I don't like the EU even though I liked it 35 years ago but also then I didn't care about NATO and now I hate them

Idea of BRICS is not to have *one* or _few nations_ *dominating* flow of *money* (i.e. Gold/value ), and resources ( *minerals* ,etc). So idea of an *alternate* money-flow, i.e. BRICS *currency* , and also so " BRICS *Bank* ". But *problem* is *China's* known *_Debt-trap_* tactics which use existing *IMF* and *Europe's* Western Banks to pressure poor *African* (Asian) nations, to become virtual slaves to *China's* advancement (e.g. Kenya, Mali, etc). So, BRICS *currency* has to be made for only *Commodity Specific* trade. So say, BRICS will agree on what *_fits Category_* : E.g. *All* agree that BRICS$ can be used to trade *software services* , iron-ore, *oil* , chemicals, *rare-earth minerals* and book-keeping-services. So, BRICS nations can *only* trade in these using BRICS$ , and can be monitored for *deviancy* - Which (trading non-BRICS agreed items) results in *fines/penalties* , etc. So, BRICS dollars can be used by other nations, but *all* BRICS *knows* the supply of BRICKS$, and so cheating can be *monitored* . Russian Rouble is garbage. Indian Rupee S. African Rand are not traded internationally. Chinese RMB is in “free-fall” with the government squandering their currencies to keep it solvent. They are in constant fear of it being shorted.

So in the free world not everyone is corrupt so a group of scientists are looking at helping Africa by using Africa as a development site for robotics. Here we play our teams against other teams to develop peaceful robotic systems.
Since we need a playing field and need tasks we will use garbage pickup and recycling as our methods and compete in that regard for innovation.
