well the obvious answer would be he's/she's rather blind to what tevyat actually is. WIthout that knowledge, the other sibling knows they're going to make a rash decision. Only through experiencing tevyat as a whole, can he/she come to his own conclusion with all the information laid bare to them

What if in the end Aether is upset and angry at Lumine for leaving him, he seems so determined to find her. To find answers. But she had no mercy, she left because she "saw the true nature" but never sat down to talk with Aether about what was going on, what she was doing.

What if she *can't?* There's no way that telling him what's going on doesn't go against the heavenly principles.

Okay but imagine 1:00 continuing with Aether sensing Lumine like in that one quest and he rushes out to run after her and finally grabs her arm. It continues like the music and he almost gets her to come inside and have fun for the evening and she was going to but then the angry and sad part of the song starts and they're starting to have an argument. Aether thinks Lumine abandoned him and gets angry and when the shouting ends you can see Lumine running away, dissapearing in the distance and Aether, in a burst of anger, punching the floor which lets a little of his original power flow through because of the vast emotions and he makes a noticeable dent in the floor. He storms off angry at first but it goes into a crying face while he walks and hugs himself. In the end you can see some guests of the party standing a bit away, having heard and seen a few parts and completely shocked, especially at the power when he punched the floor and the fact that he didn't use any elemental power. They now regret not searching for Lumine when Aether asked. Last panel is a split between Aether and Lumine both crying, one with the head up and hands on their heart, one curled in themself. Woo that was fun and angsty.
Oh yeah and when Lumine would turn away is like 1:48

I absolutely adore the extra writing and the editing here! Everything is so coherent and conveys the twin's emotions really well, this is amazing and fits them perfectly

It’s also amazing that the song’s lyrics is sung by the twins separately. Like, one tome it was Lumine saying she wanted to leave and in the next part of the song it was Aether. It really gives of the impression of two alternative universes one when Aether is looking for Lumine and the other where Aether was sealed away and Lumine is looking for him.
[POSSIBLE SPOILERS AND DISCUSSION OF WE WILL BE REUNITED QUEST]
I loved the "We will be Reunited" quest. So many things to think about in terms of lore. I'm curious to see future interactions between the two siblings. What is our other sibling planning? How much involvement did the archons have in the destruction of Kaenr'iah? So many questions. I personally believe that the archons were simply pawns that had to help with the final blow. However, the Gods in Celestia were the ones who made the decision. Perhaps our sibling went up to Celestia and saw something that forever tainted their view of Teyvat? Just a small theory of mine haha.

also the main traveler seemed to remember khaneriah. while the other sibling has been fighting for hundreds of years, the other sibling has been asleep.

@@Victor_Graves In lore Aether is the protagonist one, but in game they both are protagonists. In game there are a lot of mistakes in translation, that's why you sometimes see "she" for he or the opposite

They chose aether for the mc for the trailers and stuff (I suppose cause the gamer community mainly consists of males) and once they did that there was no changing to Lumine as it would confuse people.

Personally I think that Lumine despite being heavily influenced by the abyss has that part of her that just wants to see her brother happy and to be with him as we see her here looking through the window on their birthday and smiling at him having fun. Of course what she's doing isn't at all what Aether wanted or is right but then again shes bring controlled and is not herself and yet she is convinced that it's for the best and tells herself it's for her brother. She approaches him and cares for him despite her wrongdoings and Aether pushes her away saying that he doesn't want any of this and wants to now be alone. This, compared to the game is a lot more different. Saying you picked Aether as ur MC the actual reunion cutscene shows Lumine in a much different light and the interaction itself is far colder and Abyss Princess Lumine is the one who pushes Aether away and separates them once again while Aether shows desparation to be with her again. Of course this animatic isn't solely based on canon story and interaction and I am not at all showing hate to the creator in fact I very much enjoyed it and rewatched it hundreds of times. I don't really know why I wrote this comment but oh well. I had an idea of why but I lost as I continued typing. 😅 So to everyone who read all this way

please i just had the relization about the twins watching this. when you chose a character they mention the clothes they wear having special meaning because they are matching with our twin. The abyss twin never changed theor clothes meaning they still fond some sort of connection through them like we do

I dont _feel_ like I'm crying, not like the hiccupy sobbing way when I'm actually emotional about something IRL, but tears just kept falling and dripping like I had no control over just how much I _felt_ for these fictional characters. All because of an animatic. it's not just the music. the expressions, the situations, I _felt_ that. their story.
I love how the lyrics reflects each other, the colour tones got darker and more redder as there was more anger and sadnesss. I was a really nice colour scheme. One of my favourite genshin impact animatics
I find it interesting that even after 3 years of plot, this is still as accurate to their relationship as it was when it released

This is literally amazing! It really shows the twins’ personalities and their relationship with one-another. While I was watching this, it made me so sad to really see how that once they were separated from eachother, they really became distant (physically and emotionally.)

And lumine responded with that line is as if she's wondering why can't aether join her? Why can't he see the terrible fate that she already seeing? Why he so insist on going away from what she fighting for??

I feel like the twins are half’s and just can’t live without each other like literally there powers, the ones we saw at beginning of the game, are stronger then celestia when they are together I also feel like it’s impossible for 1 twin to move onto the next world without the powers of the other one and since in the game they re supposed to represent yang yang which are 2 complete opposites I can’t imagine how much it would one twin to go up *against* the other when all there life’s they’ve been together

The whole animatic is a blessing to the eyes. The color scheme all pop out perfectly whenever you’re trying to convey a certain emotion.
The song fits so well because it’s exactly what is going on currently. I felt the part where they say they should go different paths
At first, Aether wishes Lumine to stay. After years past, the direction goes opposite ways. Aether found other people yet Lumine still sticks to the idea that Aether doesn’t need anyone but herself. Because it has always been that way. So why is he saying that now when he refused before?

I love the expressions on Aethers face, we’re normally used to seeing him expressionless but here you can see his anger, desperation, sadness, his *hurt* .This was cinematically beautiful, thank you.
Personally I don't know this fandom but I really enjoy the vibe art style and color. I enjoyed how you used a song about Conjoined Twins and put them with I am guessing brother and sisters. Great job with the emotion it also reminds me of a lot of Omori animations.
