- Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) is suddenly transported to the mind of his ten year old self as his loyal companion Ando struggles to remind him of his powers.
From Heroes Season 3 Episode 9, "It's Coming": After a pre-emptive strike against Hiro and Ando in Africa, Arthur Petrelli orders Knox and Flint to hunt down his son and his granddaughter Claire. Nathan is stunned to learn his father is alive and leading a charge to worldwide destruction.
At Pinehearst, Sylar has a charged confrontation with Elle. Suresh begins testing his new combined superpower formula. Later, with the others dead, injured or on the run, Matt attempts to wake Angela.

I used to watch this back in the day. It was such an amazing show that I watched with my grandpa before he passed away. I actually watched this because I had genuine interest in the development for Hiro but after Season 2 I just noticed it downhill from there and never watched it again.
If I remember correctly there was a writers strike at that time, and they tried to continue it without the original writers and it was awful.
Yeah, I just commented about this.
Hiro was kind of clueless and inexperienced, naive and stupid with his powers... Then you meet Future Hiro on the train with Peter and he's totally disciplined and calm and effective. I wanted to see Hiro become that guy.
Instead of we just continuously got stupid, goofy Hiro that didn't have a clue what he was doing and was just an actual moron.
This show was really great. Wished they did better and kept it as great from season two onwards.
The writers strike is what really killed Heroes. Its such a shame because the show was really great up to that point. It just never recovered and was cancelled.
TBF, that's the studio's fault. Writers strikes only happen when executives try to screw over the creatives.
@@Teauma It wasn't the writers at the studio that went on strike, it was all the writers involved in Hollywood -- similar to the one that just happened. It was more like unfortunate timing that this show was airing during the time when that happened. Lost is another show that was noticeably affected by it.
Aww, was that the reason why S5 was so bad? S1-S4 was so good 😭
The reason for the strikes were the studios though - including Universal for Heroes.
For example, during the recent strike, A24 didn't screw over their workers so A24 productions were exempt from the strikes: those projects just continued as normal.
I never knew about that, it's a shame...
Hiro was the best character loved him in this.
But until the end of the season finished, we never get the future badass hiro. What a bad writing for his character.
@@pekkokarmila85 Hah, I've just finished saying this too. I wanted to see the progression from stupid, clueless moronic Hiro, into the disciplined badass of Future Hiro, but we never saw that. We just had endless scenes of Hiro being stupid and not knowing how to use his powers very well.

Wow it's been a while since i've seen the show, wish they'd bring it back. If i remember correctly Petrelli is killing all telepaths, psychics, seers, mind readers, etc, so no one except him can control or see the future....

They did bring it back but it sucked? I can't even remember what happens

There's no need to. All the original characters that came back for Heroes Reborn, were downgraded or killed.
Even season 2 was better than that.
the moment Peter lost his abilities, I feel the show dropped down to the shits!
they've done plenty of time travel, & none of that negated all his abilities, only as soon as his future self goes back in time once...suddenly he's powerless!
the new attempt at the revival, didn't really make sense either!

He was only in 9 episodes of season 3 but he was amazing, I would recommend rewatching the show again.
His last role was in the breaking bad movie el Camino which coincidently was released on the day he died.

I remember there was sort of spin-off "heroes revelation" or something like this, but the level of writing wasn't near the original. So many shows suffered 2007-2009 writers' strike: Heroes, Jericho, BSG... RIP good writing

I find it funny tht a guy living in secluded parts of africa supposedly painted the eclipse in a comic book style with perfect edges haha at least make that part a bit messy or something

He did, but I think in some places in Asia you're 1 year old at birth. The translator might have accounted for that for western audiences.

Out of curiosity? Haven't seen many episodes from the show, beens MANY year's but elaborate? Heard the show fell off in later seasons and I wonder what they did with hiro.

It's not the same, but I really enjoyed Travelers. I think it's on Netflix now. Also on Netflix is "Dark" which is incredible, but quite heady - not as light as Heroes.

I think I've seen this time stop thing before but there were a lot more naked Japanese women in it.
I loved this show at first but then it just started getting horrible. That writers block was no joke.
